PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

GOD Remains In Control

2/27/2026

Job is a book that lays out the incredible sufferings of a man who trusts God but cannot understand why he is having to go through so many hardships and calamities. The book is presented through an ongoing series of interactions between the suffering of Job and his so-called 'friends' or 'comforters'. These men do little to befriend the miserable man, and the only solace they offer is to falsely accuse him of sinning against God.
Everything Job identifies in this initial outburst of God's majesty and power, accounts for many truths that have only recently been discovered by modern science, or continue to be areas of scientific study that remain a mystery in the minds of eminent professors and research scientists. Theories abound connected with the functioning of the earth, the mysteries of the moon, God's control over the raging waters, and the outer reaches of known knowledge, and the proud, satanic serpent who was defeated at Calvary's Cross.
We will never understand the mind of God AND YET, He sent Jesus to reveal Himself to us in the most amazing way. We may not understand the things we have to go through; the problems and pain, the trials and tribulations. BUT GOD Remains In Control and He has His finger on the very pulse of our lives, therefore we should trust Him in everything, even when we do not understand.

Job 26:14 And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, what a great and glorious God You are. Thank You for the magnificence of Your creation and truths You have unfolded to our understanding through Your Word. But Lord, as we read through the book of Job and other testimonies of Your greatness, we realize how great You are and how insignificant we are. Yet, in Your goodness and grace, You sent Jesus to give us a greater understanding of Who you are and all that You have done. Thank You for Your amazing plan of redemption and for loving us enough to send Jesus to be our Redeemer and Friend. To Him be all praise and glory, AMEN.

We Are To Stand Fast In The Truth

2/26/2026

Whether opposition to the gospel comes from moralists, religionists, legalists, or any other opposing body, all resistance to God's Word is designed to diminish the Person of Christ and His finished Work on the Cross, for salvation. Such apostate teachers with their heretical doctrines always insist that salvation requires something to be added to the Cross - that mankind must engage in some meritorious work other than simply believing in the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ, for their salvation.
The problems Paul warned about in his letter to the Romans are no less a problem in the churches of today, and so we should all take to heart the warnings he gives and the exhortations he makes, to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.
May we realize that the only way to honor the Lord Who bought us, is to be obedient to His Word and trust His promises. We Are To Stand Fast In The Truth, grow in grace, mature in the faith, walk in spirit and truth, and utterly abhor that which is evil, while clinging to all that is good.

Romans 16:19 Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, keep us vigilant and circumspect in our Christian walk, knowing that there are many false teachers and deceptive doctrines that have infiltrated the churches, and which have caused many innocent believers to be deceived and defeated in their Christian walk. We pray that You would give us wisdom and discernment, concerning all that is good and wholesome, while being alert to the schemes of evil people, and the dangers of adopting a perverted gospel, that strays from the truth of God’s Word. We pray that we may be wise that which is good and display an innocence concerning things that are evil, and in Your power, may we live only for Christ, in Whose name we Pray, AMEN.

He Alone Is The One To Whom We Confess Our Sins

2/25/2026

This call to confession is not a summons to the confessional box where a 'priest' becomes a middleman between us and God, there is one God and one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus. He Alone Is The One To Whom We Confess Our Sins. This is not a call to expose our secret sins to the whole wide world, we are to confess our sins to God and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
When we have wronged another person we are called to go to them quickly and admit our sin and seek their forgiveness, this is the will of God for us. We are also called to willingly, graciously, and fervently pray for each other, as we lift up those who may have wronged us to the Lord in prayer, the fellowship of His love will stream into our hearts and minds, removing any nagging bitterness or residue of unforgiveness.
We are called to be holy for God is holy, but it is only as we confess our sins to one another and to our Father in heaven, that fellowship is renewed and our prayers become effective.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we desire to maintain fellowship with You and to walk godly in Christ Jesus. Help us to recognize our faults and quickly seek Your forgiveness. Help us also to confess our faults to those we have wronged, and we pray that we may maintain attitudes of prayer and learn to pray fervently in spirit and truth so that in Christ our prayers may be effective and avail much, to Your honor and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Narrow WAY That Leads To Everlasting Life

2/24/2026

Christ's Sermon on the Mount covers every area of godly living and right thinking. Unlike the Mosaic Law, it is not a series of rules and regulations. It is not a list of instructions on 'do's' and 'don'ts'. His sermon was an authoritative teaching that laid out general principles for life and living. These principles can be applied to every facet of life and are relevant in every situation we may encounter.
Christ's sermon was designed to show that entrance into His kingdom did not only depend on good works, but a pure heart and godly motives none of which are attainable by fallen humanity. Jesus was showing that the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven and participate in Christ's millennial rule on the earth is to be saved. We are saved by grace through faith in JESUS CHRIST, and this is non-negotiable.
Today there are still proud, legalistic, self-righteous, religious-minded men and women who are blinded to The Narrow WAY That Leads To Everlasting Life. There are many that refuse to accept the TRUTH and do not find the path that leads to LIFE everlasting. It is not God's will that any should perish but that all should come to faith in Christ. May we be ready and willing to speak the truth in love to those that are lost in their own self-importance, and by God's grace may some be snatched from the broad path that leads to destruction
.
Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that in Your grace, You brought us to an understanding that the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to everlasting life. Thank You that by faith in Christ, we have found the Way to life and discovered Him to be the truth of the glorious gospel of grace. We pray that You would have pity on those that remain dead in their sin. Have mercy on those who through pride and their own self-sufficiency, have not yet found the narrow way that leads to life. Use us we pray, in whatever way You choose, to speak the truth in love to those who are on the broad way to destruction, and bring many into Your kingdom this day, In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Godly Characteristics

2/23/2026

Here we read a highly personal directive to Timothy: "Let no one look down on your youthfulness," was Paul’s emphatic instruction to his young protégé, "but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."
Although we are unable to control the attitude of others towards ourselves, Paul helped to equip Timothy to deal with this situation in a most biblical manner. None of us can prevent another person from despising us or expressing contempt towards us, but we are to be responsible for the way that we react to any negative attitude others may show towards us.
In every area of life, we are to demonstrate the same, spiritual maturity in the way we live, the words we speak, the things we do, and the way we react to others in these difficult and challenging times. Our behavior, attitude, actions, and motives should be pure and holy, and should demonstrate the godly wisdom that only comes from above.
May we seek to display the same Godly Characteristics of Timothy and like him, have a teachable spirit that seeks to honor the Lord in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, and may we show ourselves to be godly examples to those who believe.

1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom and instruction that we gain from the letters to Timothy. May we look to Jesus, day by day, and stand firm in the faith, holding fast to the truth of the glorious gospel of grace. Help us not to be offended by the actions or attitudes of others towards us, but rather, may our speech and conduct be honoring to You, and may we serve You in faith and purity, to our lives' end. Help us to be godly examples to those with whom we have to do, for Your holy name's sake, and greater glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

FAITH HOPE LOVE

2/22/2026

Of all the gifts and graces that are poured out in great abundance into the lives of believers, there are three that out-shine and out-last all others. When prophecy is complete, languages cease, signs are silenced, and miracles of health, healing, provision, and protection are no longer needed. We are told that these three spiritual fruits of God’s amazing grace will continue and will remain and abide into the eternal state: faith, hope, and love.
But love is a gift of God, and love is the primary a fruit of the Spirit that will continue to grow and expand beyond our wildest imaginations. The love of God that has been poured into our hearts will continue to increase and multiply, The love of God is eternal, and the love of God is broader than the measure of our mind. The loving heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind.
Our faith in Him will stand fast forever, and our hope in Him will be forever realized. But it is the love of God that He has for us that will move us ever closer to the love that we have for Him as we abide in Him and He in us, through time and into eternity.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Our United Prayer:

Thank You Father for Your gift of salvation by grace alone, simply because we believe in Your Son. Thank You for the hope that is set before us and thank You for the love of the Lord Jesus, which was demonstrated to us on a wooden cross, over 2000 years ago. May His love flood our hearts and pour through us into the lives of others, that they may know Your love, have faith in Your finished work and receive that blessed hope in their hearts, that only comes from You, in Jesus name we Pray, AMEN.

Godly Love

2/21/2026

Godly Love is the exact opposite of the unspiritual behavior. Love does not envy, love is not boastful or conceited, nor it is jealous, arrogant, argumentative, carnal-minded, discontented, immoral, inconsiderate, unloving, self-inflated, selfish, or critical of others.
This thirteenth chapter is considered by many to be the supreme treaties on love, and as we read through this passage that is beloved by many, we discover that only the name 'JESUS' could easily be substituted throughout for the word 'LOVE'. Justifiably so, Jesus is patient, and Jesus is kind.
Jesus does not envy, and Jesus is not boastful nor conceited. Jesus is not rude nor does He insist on His own way. Jesus is neither irritable nor resentful, and Jesus does not rejoice at wrongdoing He rejoices with the truth, He is the Truth. Only in and through Jesus are we able to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things.

When we consider this passage, let us look deeper into the significance of its true meaning, and earnestly pray that Christ may be formed in us so that we are enabled to love as He loves.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, develop in us the godly fruit of love. May we live in love and seek to love as Christ loved. Keep us from jealousy and boastfulness, and may the love of Jesus be seen in and through us, by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

To Rejoice In Hope

2/20/2026

To Rejoice In Hope is to have that unfaltering assurance in God's Word as fact, knowing that our hope of glory is secured for us in heavenly places for the eternal ages to come, simply because God's Word is true and cannot be broken. Our hope is built on nothing less than trusting in the Cross of Christ and taking God at His Word.
To be patient in affliction is to know and accept that in this world we will have tribulation, but to wait patiently in our suffering without murmurings. We are to be of good cheer, knowing that His strength is sufficient to see us through every difficulty of life because He has already overcome sin and death – and we are united with Him and His victory.
To be constant in prayer is to recognize that prayer is one of the chief weapons of the spiritual warfare in which all Christians are engaged. As saints of God we should all be instant in prayer, constantly lifting our hearts and voice to the Lord in prayers of thanks and praise and intercession and requests, and laying them before the throne of God's grace in the name of JESUS - knowing that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
Let us exercise all Paul's short, crisp instructions for godly living that are found in this final section of His letter to the Romans, as well as taking time to study this lengthy and weighty letter that has been written for our learning so that we too may live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. And may Christ be seen in me, and also in you
.
Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for the Word of God and the godly instructions that are laid out for the Church in the letters of Paul. Please help us to rejoice in hope, endure in tribulation, and persevere in prayer, as we press on to the goal of our calling. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Pray Without Ceasing

2/19/2026

Christ uses the parable of the widow woman and the unjust judge to encourage us to be continually in prayer, to Pray Without Ceasing, and to remain in constant communion with the Lord as we petition Him for the blessings we need from His gracious hand, especially when those blessings seem to be delayed.
This is not a teaching that describes a God as a worldly judge Who is reluctant to bestow His blessings, but rather a generous Father Who gives good gifts to all His children. Nor are we likened to some lonely, poverty-stricken, unsupported widow, for we are children of God, beloved of the Father, accepted in the Beloved, and inheritors of the kingdom of heaven.
We do not have to grovel for meager scraps at the bench of an unbelieving judge, for we have free and open access into the throne of grace and the riches of His love in Christ Jesus so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
His delay is not inactivity or disinterest, but a preparation to make all things work together for good, to those that love God and are called according to His purpose.

Luke 18:7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to maintain trusting attitudes of prayer, knowing that any perceived delay is Your willing preparation. Thank You that You are holy and righteous and will avenge Your elect and make all things right in Your own perfect timing. Thank You that You are our Father, and we are Your children. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

We Should Confidently Walk The Earth In Unity Of The Spirit

2/18/2026

In a few simple words, Paul describes the godly behavior that gives much glory to God. First, our manner of life should be worthy of the gospel of Christ. In word and deed, action and attitude, we are to a worthy witness to a wicked world, of the glorious gospel of Christ that transforms a doomed sinners in the clutches of Satan into a saved saint; redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, transferred into the kingdom of God's dear Son, and living a life that is being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ.
Moral conduct was not to be dependent upon the presence or absence of Paul. Virtuous behavior should never be slackened or compromised when a believer is alone, nor should there be a pretense of spirituality when in the company of others. Whatever we do, whether we are by ourselves or with other people, ALL should be done to the praise and glory of God.
We are encouraged to develop and maintain, the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, and to single-mindedly stand firm in the faith of the gospel of Christ, in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel.
As members of the Body of Christ and citizens of heaven, We Should Confidently Walk The Earth In Unity Of The Spirit, and consistently stand firm in the faith that was once offered to the saints, with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith of the gospel and in so doing glorifying our Father Who is in heaven.

Philippians 1:27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us all to live lives that are worthy of You. May our conduct and behavior be uncompromising, whether we are alone or in the company of others. May the words of our mouths and the thoughts of our hearts be pleasing to You. We pray that we may stand firm in the truth of the glorious gospel of grace and strive side by side with our brothers and sisters in Christ for the faith of the glorious gospel of Christ. He alone is worthy of our praise and worship, and it is in His name we Pray, AMEN.

We Are All Called By God To Be Holy

2/17/2026

We Are All Called By God To Be Holy and set apart unto Him but we are also called into fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ. We are urged to be of the same mind and the same judgment.
The divisions and disunity that was evident within the Corinthian church so long ago, is equally conspicuous in the Body of Christ today, and Paul lovingly exhorts each one of us to agree amongst ourselves so that there is no disharmony, disagreement, or dissention amongst us.
This call for singleness of heart is founded upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and not our preferred preacher or favored ministry. We are to have the mind of Christ. We are to develop the same attitude of heart toward each other that Christ Jesus has for us so that with one mind and one voice we may glorify our God Who in heaven, and our Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord.
In a time when there are ever deepening divisions in the world, how important it is to love our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. Let us be those who build each other up in love, encouraging and comforting each other as we see the day approaching. May our love for each other flow out into the world so that unbelievers may see our love, be drawn to Jesus, and enter into a saving knowledge of our loving Savior.

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive the times when we have allowed foolish pride or a careless attitude to cause disunity to fester within our hearts towards our brothers and sisters in Christ. May we be of one heart and mind with other believers, knowing that we are all one in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whose name we Pray, AMEN.

The Trying Experiences Of Today

2/16/2026

God's will for all His children is that we rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and in all things to give thanks to Him, even during the inevitable difficulties of life that we all have to face, and in the midst of the various trials that are the portion of all humanity.
The trial that comes our way is not a stick of punishment from an angry God for our misdemeanors, but the corrective, chastening rod of our loving Heavenly Father Who loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to pay the price for our sin so that by believing in Him, we might receive forgiveness of sins and life everlasting.
The Trying Experiences Of Today are preparing us for a glorious tomorrow. They are designed to test our faith, develop our faith, hone our faith, and increase our faith in our Father in heaven. The faith of each of His children is valuable to the Lord, more precious to Him than much fine gold, which will one day perish.
Let us rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all things, even during the trials that come our way:

1 Peter 1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being with us in all our trials. What a blessing to realize that when we go through trials, the end result can be stronger faith which is much more precious than gold. We know the refining process that we are going through is difficult, but we pray that when we have been tried in the fire, our faith would come forth as gold, to Your praise, honor, and glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

What An Incredible Spectacle

2/15/2026

What An Incredible Spectacle must have taken place on the day of Pentecost, when believers were filled with the Holy Spirit. What an amazing scene it must have been when Christ's followers began to proclaim the wonderful works of God in a multitude of languages, and Peter was empowered to deliver his great sermon, calling the people of Israel to faith in their promised Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Should not we who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and become part of the Body of Christ, join that great cloud of witnesses in exulting our resurrected Savior and glorifying our Father in heaven?
Should not our hearts rejoice, and our tongue be glad that we are one with our gracious Lord? Should not our flesh rest in that blessed hope we have in Christ? He has broken the power of sin and death in our lives and we are in union with Him, forever. Amen!

Acts 2:26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for Jesus. our hearts rejoice, and our tongues are filled with gladness for the sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Thank You for the blessed hope we have in Him. To You be all praise and glory, world without end, AMEN.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2026

2/14/2026

It may be a simple instruction to the Church but it is one of the greatest challenges with which any of us can be presented. It is the Holy Spirit of God Who calls us to live as Christ lived and to love as Christ loved. Such divine love is an impossibility in our own limited, human strength. It is only as the Holy Spirit is given a way to carry out His work within, that this impossible command can be carried out.
It is as we abide in Christ and He in us, that we begin to learn the lesson of love - godly love - sacrificial love. It is as we die to self in all things and live for Christ alone that we begin to be formed into the image of Christ. It is as we permit the Holy Spirit to carry out His good work in and through our lives, that we can become a channel through whom His love can flow out to others.
Every action and every attitude, every word and every work, each thought of the heart, each decision of the mind and even the motives that influence the choices we make, need to be bathed in the purifying gaze of the Holy Spirit, washed in the fountain of God's divine love and covered with the unconditional grace of Christ Who for love of His Church went to the cross willingly so that like Him, everything we do may be done through HIM - in LOVE.

1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done with love.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, we confess that in our own strength, it is impossible for us to carry out all that we say and do in love, but we know that it is possible in the strength and power of the Spirit of love. You have promised to pour Your love through us to others, so that we may love others as Christ loved us. Use us to be vessels of love in the lives of all we meet today, knowing that it is Christ that loves through us and not ourselves. In Jesus’ name we Pray, AMEN.

The Word Of God

2/13/2026

The Word Of God teaches that we are fellow citizens with the saints and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself being the Chief Cornerstone. That foundation was laid and completed in the early Church and given for our learning through the completed Scripture. For over two thousand years, the Body of Christ has continued to be fitted together and is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; built together into a dwelling of God, in the power of the Spirit.
We must stand fast on the Word of Truth which we have been given through the ministry and mission of the apostle Paul. May we, with spiritual discernment, read, mark, learn, inwardly digest, and rightly divide the Scriptures through the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that we do not fall into any presumptive practices or lean towards any form of legalism. May the Word of God remain our plumb-line for truth so that we do not embrace any doctrinal error nor be carried away by any deceptive lies..

Galatians 1:12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the truth that we have been given through the ministry and mission of the apostle Paul. Keep us from falling into any kind of legalism or false teaching, and give us the discernment to recognize when a different gospel is being taught. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
