PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

It Is Because Of God's Grace And Mercy

3/31/2026

It Is Because Of God's Grace And Mercy that sinful mankind is able to be redeemed by the blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our sins washed away forever. It is in the power of the Holy Spirit that we are born from above and placed into the family of God.
When we believed in Christ as Savior, our sins were forgiven and we were declared righteous before God. When we trusted Christ, we were immediately given a new spiritual birth; a new spiritual life in Him, by means of the Holy Spirit.
A multitude of blessings were showered on us the very hour we first believed. We were immediately baptized into the Body of Christ, which is the Church, and were placed into the family of God. We were given a heavenly inheritance and were seated with Christ in heaven.
Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God for His abundant grace, mercy and love for us. Let us praise Him, honor Him, and with joy in our hearts, acknowledge the wondrous gift of salvation given to all who believe.

Titus 3:6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, Lord, for Your amazing grace that has been poured out on us through the Holy Spirit, to the praise of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the glory of God the Father, in Jesus name we Pray, AMEN.

The Path That He Would Have Us Take

3/30/2026

God is our Savior, and our hope is in Him throughout the day and night. How important therefore to learn the ways of the Lord. How vital to discover which paths He would have us to follow. And the Word of God is a light to our path and a lamp to illumine the way that God would have us tread. The Word of God is an instruction manual to teach us His ways, as well as a love-letter to all His children.
We are not to walk in the counsel of wicked people, stand in the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of scoffers. We are to commit our way to the LORD; walk in the path that God has ordained, and trust in Him, knowing that He has promised to guide all those that are humble in heart and will teach them His way and His judgments.
In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us die to self and live unto the Lord so that we may know His ways, learn the lessons He would teach us, and Follow The Path That He Would Have Us Take.

Psalm 25:4 Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give us teachable spirits and a desire to know Your ways. Keep us separated from the ways of wicked people and help us to walk daily in the path that you have set before us. Open our eyes to Your truth as we study Your Word, and help us to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, day by day. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Responsibility We All Have Towards God And Our Fellow Believers

3/29/2026

When Paul was converted to the Christian faith, he suddenly discovered the shocking consequences of his own unbelief because he recognized that his religious legalism had kept him estranged from God and excluded him from fellowship with the One he claimed to follow.
Once he discovered that Jesus of Nazareth was his God and Savior, Paul's desire was to tell others of our great salvation. He wanted them to share in the hope we have in Christ and experience the great freedoms we enjoy by faith in Him.
Paul's bold declaration on preaching the gospel follows a long passage that speaks of the great privileges that are ours in Christ, and details The Responsibility We All Have Towards God And Our Fellow Believers. As Paul reminds us, there are many responsibilities that accompany our great salvation.
Like the apostle Paul, we have received our salvation by faith in Christ, and like him we have nothing to boast about. Our salvation does not depend on what we do but on what Christ has already done on our account. Like Paul, with the privileges that accompany salvation, there are certain responsibilities we have towards both God and fellow believers.
May we, like Paul, rejoice in the privileges that are ours by faith and consider the accompanying responsibilities as blessings to share rather than a burden to carry.

1 Corinthians 9:16 Yet when I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am obligated to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending the Lord Jesus to be the sacrifice for sin, and for the many privileges that accompany our great salvation. Thank You that salvation is free to all and comes without cost. We pray that we would feel constrained to carry out the good work that You have prepared for us to do and tell others the good news that Christ died for their sins and rose again so that by faith in Him, they too might have forgiveness of sin and life everlasting This we ask and Pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.

God Has Given Us Eternal Life

3/28/2026

God's unshakable and irrefutable declaration to the fallen race of mankind is that God Has Given Us Eternal Life and this life is in His Son, He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, and He alone has the authority to give eternal life to all who come to Him for salvation.
The life and power of the Holy Sprit of truth in the heart of a believer, is a third yet equally important testimony: "That God has given us eternal life, and that this life is in His Son." We received the permanent presence of God's Holy Spirit within our hearts when we were adopted as God's own children. He witnesses within our inner being that we are children of God and that we have received eternal life, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus our Savior.
Eternal life is a gift from God to all who believe in Christ, not a reward for our work or a recompense for our merit. That eternal life is IN Christ, He is our life. Eternal life is not just from Him but is IN Him, and He who has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life: "And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
"
1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the glorious gospel of grace and the truth that it contains. Thank You that we have life in Christ, by grace, through trusting in His shed blood at Calvary. How we praise Your name that we have received eternal life and that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord and our Lives. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

God Is Spirit And God Is Light

3/27/2026

Having reminded us that God Is Spirit And God Is Light, the apostle John also now reminds us that God is Love, and each eternal quality of God by necessity must be indivisibly and eternally fused together with every other one of His holy attributes.
The love of God must never be disconnected from His righteousness, His holiness, His goodness, and His perfect nature, for to do so is to reduce God to a figment of man's imagination. But herein is God's LOVE (as well as His righteousness, holiness, goodness, and grace), not that we loved God (for we were dead in our sins and at enmity with Him), but that He loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to be the propitiation for our sins so that all who believe on Him, would not perish but have everlasting life.

1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father thank You for Your love, Your righteousness, Your holiness, Your goodness, and Your grace towards us in that while we are still sinners, You sent the sinless Lord Jesus Christ to die on our account. By the sacrifice of His perfect life in ours stead, we have been brought near and accepted as Your child. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Share The Gospel

3/26/2026

Although the debt for mankind's sin has been paid in full, not everyone will receive God's amazing free gift of grace for the forgiveness of sins. Every person has the potential for salvation, but those who reject His free gift of grace by faith alone in Christ alone, will one day be fully and finally separated from God.
It is not because of sin that some will experience this final separation from their heavenly Creator, for the payment of all sin has already been made. Christ is the propitiation for all mankind, and God is fully satisfied with His sacrifice on the Cross. People are eternally separated from the Father, not because of their sins, but because they rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Let us make every effort to preach the Word to a lost and dying world and Share The Gospel of grace to all with whom we come in contact to give them hope in their lives, knowing: "Whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life."

1 Timothy 4:10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that we are saved by grace through trusting in Christ as the propitiation for our sins. Thank You that You loved the world so much that You gave Him to be the offering for the sins of all mankind. We pray that many may come to faith in Christ today and that You would give us many opportunities to preach the Word of truth to all with whom we come in contact with. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

'Set Apart Unto God'

3/25/2026

The word 'sanctify' means 'set apart' and in this amazing prayer, where Jesus prays for his disciples to be 'Set Apart Unto God' through the truth of the Word of God, He also sanctifies Himself.
Jesus sanctified Himself to do the will of the Father. He set Himself apart unto God in order to carry out the redemptive plans and purposes that God had prepared for Him to do. He did this so that all who believe in Him might also be sanctified unto God, set apart unto Him to live and work to His praise and glory. Christ sanctified Himself so that all who believe in His name might also be sanctified and set apart unto God, in truth.
Jesus sanctified Himself to do the will of God on earth for our sakes and to set us an example of how God desires that mankind should live, in total dependence upon Him and willing to say, "Thy will not mine be done." Christ is the perfect pattern of a man set apart unto God, and He sanctified Himself so that we might be sanctified in Him, in spirit and in truth.

John 17:19 And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving Jesus to be our Savior and for sending Him to be our example of how we should, sanctified unto God, should live. we pray that in the power of the Holy Spirit we may live our lives sanctified unto God, walking in spirit and truth, and living our lives in total dependence upon You, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

All Who Trust In Him For Salvation

3/24/2026

A lawyer who was an expert in the Law of Moses, came to the Lord Jesus to a seek an alternative way of salvation by asking the question, "Teacher, what must I DO to INHERIT eternal life?"
This lawyer had developed the legalist view that keeping the Law was the route to eternal life. This legalistic scholar had developed a perspective which meant that he had to do something in order to obtain eternal life.
The question that this young man asked was the wrong question and was based on his own self-righteousness and not his sinful state.
All the good works and self-righteous acts produced by mankind are filthy rags in the eyes the Lord.    Only in Christ can true righteousness be found, and All Who Trust In Him For Salvation are clothed in HIS righteousness.
Many today are seeking to enter heaven through their own righteousness simply because they are asking the wrong question (What must I do to INHERIT eternal life?) which demonstrates a legalist mind-set and a trust that one's own works are sufficient to earn eternal life.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
Luke 10:25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that Jesus died for our sins so that by faith in Him we will not perish, but have everlasting life. Keep us from legalistic thinking that we are able to do something to add to Christ’s finished work on the Cross. Thank You that by faith in Him, we have been forgiven of our sins and received eternal life as a free gift of grace, not of works of Law, (lest we should start to boast in our own righteousness), but only by grace through faith in Christ Jesus our Savior. Praise His holy name, AMEN.

We Are Made One With Christ

3/23/2026

We Are Made One With Christ, united with Him, positioned in Him, brought back into fellowship with God our Maker, and given the right to enter the kingdom of the Almighty to find grace to help in time of need through faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Although the power of sin was severed at the Cross, it seeks to retain authority in our lives. Although we were justified by grace through faith in Christ, we are too often willing to be influenced to sin by our old sin nature.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, and nothing can break our union with our Lord, but sin breaks fellowship with the Father. Sin severs our communion with God. Sin is the barrier that Christians can erect which breaks our fellowship with Him and cuts us off from communion with the Father. But if a Christian confesses their sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that when Christ died, He paid the price for our sins and broke the power of sin in our lives. In Him, we have fellowship with You and free access to the throne of grace. We confess that we have not always walked in spirit and truth but have given in to the temptations to follow the desires and cravings of our own hearts. We are sorry for doing things that were displeasing to You and omitting to do those things that were pleasing to You but thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive all our sins and to keep on cleansing us from unrighteousness. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Word Of God

3/21/2026

The focus of Psalm 119 is The Word Of God. The writer of this poetic work has discovered it is a lamp to his feet and a guiding light to direct his pathway. He expresses sheer delight that God's Word is forever and is firmly established in the heaven of heavens.
The Psalmist discovered that the unfolding of God's Word gives wisdom and understanding to the simple and becomes a hiding place in times of trouble. It is a shield through life's difficulties, sweeter to the taste than honey, and God has placed His Word above His holy name.
We live in a fast-moving world, where we are increasingly faced with difficulties, dangerous afflictions, and persecution. Let us never forget the comfort and solace that can be received, moment by moment, from the Word of God as we abide in Him and He in us.
The more we abide in Christ, Who is the living WORD of God, the more He is revealed to us through His written WORD.

Psalm 119:50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful written Word of God and the great comfort we receive from its pages. Thank You for Jesus, the Word made flesh, and for the loving comfort and grace we receive daily from knowing Him as our Savior. Help us to use our time wisely and delightfully read, mark, learn, inwardly digest, and meditate on the Scriptures, night and day. Thank You that Your Word is light and life, comfort and joy, refreshment and sustenance, to all who are oppressed and weary. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

God Is Exalted In His Power

3/21/2026

God Is Exalted In His Power and there is no equal to be compared with His eternal-wisdom and His omniscient understanding. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not ours. So, in the discourse that follows, spoken by the Lord Himself, we witness the most powerful display of God's wisdom.
"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?" the Lord questions, "Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place?" As God's rhetorical questions continue, we glimpse His sovereignty over all creation, from the stars, to the animals, to the weather, to the very residence of light and darkness.
God's attributes speak for themselves and God needs no human witness to defend His cause or character, His words or His actions, nor is God obliged to answer our petulant and foolish questions as to why and how and when and what and who.
Let us listen to God and sit at His feet so that we can gain a deeper knowledge of God and closer walk with Him.

Job 36:22 “Behold, God is exalted by His power; Who teaches like Him?
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, too often we try to speak for You in ignorance and even attempt to defend You or advise You, when we actually need to quietly sit at Your feet and listen. Give us a teachable spirit, we pray, and draw us into a closer and more intimate communion with You. May you be exulted in our lives. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Choice We Make About The Lord Jesus Christ

3/20/2026

There is not even the slightest, tiny crumb of condemnation at all those who are in Christ Jesus, those in UNION with Christ - those that have been placed IN Christ at rebirth, those who have been born-again, those that have been sealed by the Spirit,  those that have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Condemnation is a punishment that comes from a judicial sentence, and everyone that does not believe in the Lord Jesus as Savior is already condemned, simply because they chose not to believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Condemnation before God or justification by God comes from The Choice We Make About The Lord Jesus Christ. If we trust Him as Savior, there is no condemnation. If we do not trust Him as Savior, there is condemnation.

Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Our United Prayer:
Thank You, dear Heavenly Father, that there is no condemnation in Christ. Thank You, in Jesus' precious name we Pray, AMEN.

Faith That Justifies

3/19/2026

Faith That Justifies is a work of the Spirit in the heart of a man or woman who has trusted Christ's finished work on the Cross. Faith that justifies takes place at one moment in time, when Christ is made the object of our faith. Credible faith must have a credible focus. When a sinner is born-again, their faith in Christ is reckoned by God as righteousness.
However, the ongoing faith that sanctifies, is the work of faith that blessed Paul's heart in this verse. And Paul constantly bore in mind the Thessalonians work of faith, their labor of love, and the steadfastness of hope they had in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When with patience, we steadfastly hope in the Lord and stand firm on the promises of God, we have an inner-assurance in His Word of truth, God has placed His Word above His holy name. Our steadfast hope in the Lord is the unshakable conviction that the Bible is sure.
May our work of faith be actively dependent on Him. May our labor of love become a living sacrifice that honors our Father in thought, word, and deed, and may the steadfastness of our hope in Christ Jesus our Lord, stimulate others to work the works of faith, to labor in love, and to remain steadfast in the blessed hope we have in the Lord Jesus, in the presence of our God.

1 Thessalonians 1:3  remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder that we gain from the lives of the Thessalonian Christians whose work of faith, labor of love, and steadfast hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, is such a beautiful example of godly living that honors You. We pray that we may grow in grace and in a knowledge of Christ Jesus our Savior and do all for Your greater praise and glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

A Sincere Love For Our Brothers And Sisters

3/18/2026

We cannot purify our own hearts. We cannot manufacture a sincere love for one another. We are unable to fervently love one another in our own strength. He purified our soul at the point of salvation and continues to purify it day by day, as we confess our sins, keep ourselves in fellowship with Him, and obey the truth of His Word. Godly conduct only comes from a godly character, and a godly character only comes from Christ; as we remain in Him and He in us.
As believers, we are the most privileged people on this earth. We know that our citizenship is in heaven and that we have an inheritance that is being kept for us. We are blessed beyond comparison because, in obedience to God's Word, we have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been obedient to the truth through FAITH.
As we continue to purify our hearts and souls through living a life of faith in obedience to Christ's commands, He will pour into our heart A Sincere Love For Our Brothers And Sisters that only comes through faith in Him. We can only fervently love one another from the heart as the love of Christ streams into our soul and out to others.

1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
Our United Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that in obedience to Your Word of truth we have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin, and have had our sin-sick souls cleansed by His blood and purified, through faith in Him. We pray that we would develop sincere love for all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Give us Christlike love, we pray. Develop in us sacrificial love, so that we may fervently love others from the heart. We pray that we would grow in grace and in knowledge of the Lord Jesus, and that He would increase and we would decrease until it is not we that live, but Christ that lives in us, and His love that flows through us. This we Pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Let Us Refrain From Unrighteous Anger

3/17/2026

The Word of God speaks much about fools and the overriding consensus in the sight of God is that fools are indeed foolhardy. Even when they consider themselves to be wise. When the world applauds their godless 'wisdom' they remain fools!
The caution in this verse is not to fly into an angry rage or react negatively to some incident in resentment or pique. It is a warning that highlights the danger of nursing anger in our breast or flying into a fit of rage... from which we can all learn a valuable lesson. Such unrighteous anger reveals a lack of self-control and it exposes a decidedly weak character and an ungodly attitude.
Anger can be exhibited in many forms, from silent disdain or the smoldering of a hidden grudge, to an explosion of expletives or the eruption of nonsensical behavior.
Let Us Refrain From Unrighteous Anger that lodges in the hearts of fools and worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and may it be the deep desire of our heart to do all to the honor of His name.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, prevent us from nursing foolish anger in our hearts. Endow us with godly wisdom and gracious spirits so that we may reflect the beauty of Jesus in our lives and be witnesses to Your goodness and grace, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
