PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

The Gracious Words Of The Lord Jesus

4/30/2026

The Gracious Words Of The Lord Jesus are light and life, health and wholeness, truth and love, and they are words of great comfort for all His children. The words of Jesus bring peace and hope, and His words keep us from stumbling. Would that we pay attention to the Word made flesh Who is the only One that will guide us into all through truth through His written Word of truth, by means of His Spirit of truth.
So many of the Lord's words to the disciples were spoken to move them from the fraught emotional thinking that ravaged their anxious hearts, to the calm influence of the gospel truth that would set their hearts free and keep them from stumbling.
The gracious words of the Lord Jesus are light and life, health and wholeness, truth and love, peace and comfort, and these words are spoken to us that we may be kept from stumbling.

John 16:1 “I have told you these things so that you won’t abandon your faith.
Our United Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for the comforting truths in Your Word. May we increasingly take note of all You teach us so that we may be kept from stumbling. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

We Are Fellow-Workers With God

4/29/2026

HOW ASTONISHING, that We Are Fellow-Workers With God. We are His field and His holy building! Through us, He wants to bring forth fruit for our eternal benefit: to bring forth 10-fold, 50-fold, 100-fold fruit. We are living stones that are being built into a holy habitation for the Lord. He desires to use us for His greater glory and by His grace, and has taken up residence within our mortal bodies as He supernaturally conforms us into the lovely image and beautiful character of the Lord Jesus; until it is not I that live, but Christ that lives in us and through us.
What joy should fill our hearts and what awe should flood our beings as we contemplate the momentous position of 'fellow-workers with God'. But by His grace, all who have trusted Him for salvation have automatically been placed in this position as: "Fellow-laborer's with Him." We are under His employment and we have a responsibility to do as He tells us; and He will fashion and form us into the image and likeness of His beloved Son, until we reflect Christ's eternal beauty.
As God's fellow-workers, let us occupy until He comes to take us to be with Him. Let us be content to work the works of God in the place where He has planted us, submitting to His refining work in our inward parts, as we labor with our Lord as co-worker and fellow-laborer and as we continue to be fitted together as a dwelling-place for His Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for the privilege of being used in the world as witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to do the work that You have already prepared for us to do. Root out all that is of us, and replace it with the sweet nature of the Lord Jesus, as we carry out the work that You have prepared for us to do, in the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

We Are Now Children Of Light

4/28/2026

Paul frequently contrasts what we were before we were Christians, to what we have become since we first believed. He reminds us that although we were children of darkness, We Are Now Children Of Light. Although we were dead in our sins, we are now alive in Christ.
Christ is the beginning and the end of our faith. He is the sphere and the circumference of our lives. All that we have learned from the inspired Scriptures about Jesus is in accordance with the truth, we have been given the Word of truth and we have received the internal Spirit of truth Who was sent to guide us into the Way of truth.
As we travel through life, let us stand firm on the Word of truth, the Rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ Who told us: "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life."

Ephesians 4:21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth and for Your indwelling Spirit of truth. Thank You for searching us out and drawing us into the way of truth and for those You have used to teach us Your Word. Thank You, Father, for the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Truth. Help us to live in ways that are honoring to Him. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Dangers Of Division In The Church

4/27/2026

As Paul drew his letter to the Romans to a close, he gave them a very serious warning about the dangers of division in the Church, particularly doctrinal division. He urged the brethren to take note of those in their congregation who were divisive and caused offense, and to avoid them. So often, those that are standing firm in the faith are attacked in this way by the enemy of our soul, who seductively twists the truth through a false teacher or someone who is not standing firm in the truth.
To keep the Christians safe and to maintain pure doctrine, Paul urged the believers in Rome to become increasingly vigilant in doing what is right and to develop an innocence and simplicity towards that which is evil. He assured  them that if they remain obedient to the pure gospel of Christ, then: "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet."
May we take to heart Paul's serious warning about The Dangers Of Division In The Church, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, be ready to identify and challenge any divisive doctrine and satanic practices that are seductively packaged, in order to twist the truth and even deceive the saints.
Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, keep us from Satan's evil activities that are designed to shipwreck the faith in Your people, and keep us under Your sovereign authority, influence, and peace. Thank You that despite the enemy's deceit and trickery, Satan is a defeated enemy who has no authority over our lives, because Christ won the battle at Calvary. Frustrate the wicked wiles of the devil, and expose those false teachers, who are leading so many of Your people astray. May the grace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, this day and forevermore, AMEN.

Maturity In Our Faith Is Tested

4/26/2026

Every child of God is called to mature in the faith and grow in their spiritual life... and throughout the New Testament we are taught that Maturity In Our Faith Is Tested and established through trials and tribulations. If we are to grow in grace and in a knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are bound to go through various difficulties and dangers, trials and tribulations.
Peter reminds us that the testing of our faith is more precious than gold and calls on us to rejoice despite being distressed by various difficulties, while Paul encourages us to exult in our trials, knowing that tribulation is a necessary step towards spiritual growth and godly wisdom.
What a terrible indictment of a born-again believer who fails to live His or her life in faith - but rather chooses to pray with an unbelieving heart and is tossed to and from by every wind of change. May we develop a trusting heart of thanksgiving and praise that believes God's Word and prays in faith, expecting Him to keep His promises and fulfil his Word.

James 1:7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we do not want to be double minded or filled with doubts, we know that without faith it is impossible to please You. We pray that we  stand fast on the promises of God and pray in faith, knowing that You have provided all we need for life and godliness. Help us to persevere in the trials of life, hold fast to the Word of truth, mature in the faith, and live our lives to Your honor and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

He Is Coming Back Again

4/25/2026

Jesus had just told His disciples that He was going away but that He was going to prepare a special place for them in His Father's house. This was very disturbing for the little group of men who had given up everything to follow the Lord Jesus, and separation from Him was quite shocking.
Over2000 years have passed since Christ promised His disciples that He would return for them and this seems like a long time in our human minds, but in God's economy, Jesus has only been away two days, for a thousand years in God's economy is just one day. Christ is preparing a heavenly home for all that are His and one day, He Is Coming Back Again to welcome us into His presence so that where He is, we may be also.
What a comfort to know that soon and very soon, Jesus will be coming back for His Bride. How we long for that day when we will see Him face to face and be with Him for eternity. Let us occupy until He comes and tell all who may listen to the glorious truth of the gospel so that more can be part of His Bride, welcomed into His presence, and always be with Him.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for Jesus. How wonderful to know that one day He is returning to take us to be with Himself, forever. Thank You for Your many reassurances which are 'yes' and 'amen' in Him. We trust Your Word, for You are our faithful and true heavenly Father. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Access To Him Through Faith

4/24/2026

The letters that are written by Paul and the letters that other New Testament apostles penned, should thrill our heart. In them we gain exclusive information about our Heavenly Father and privileged Access To Him Through Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are able to read and study the New Testament epistles and through them are enabled to come to a deeper knowledge and understanding of our great Creator God.
We are not a dispatch that was formed in the imagination of fallen man with an anti-God agenda or a secular worldview, but a heavenly communication that is written on our heart, letters that honor the Lord and is grounded on biblical truth.
May we have confidence that our lives are living letters that bring glory to our Heavenly Father and our gracious Savior, Jesus Christ
.
2 Corinthians 3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that our confidence is not in ourselves but in Christ, as the Spirit of God transforms us, day by day, into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus. May we be living epistles that show forth the love of God and the truth of the glorious gospel of grace in all we say and do for Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Promises Of God

4/23/2026

God has strewn our path with encouraging promises, which are scattered throughout His Word. He has pledged to lead us in the paths of righteousness and make the way we take straight and secure. But can we trust His promises? Can we be certain that His Word is true? Indeed we can, and this truth is expressed in many of the early psalms of David.
The Promises Of God are founded on nothing less than the perfection of God's holy nature. They are rooted in the eternal faithfulness of His everlasting Word, and His Word is securely anchored on the rock of our salvation which is Jesus Whose name is Faithful and True.
The way we travel may not be the path of our choosing, nor the way we expected to trudge. The path we take may be covered with difficulties and dangers, but His grace is sufficient for every eventuality we may encounter. He knows the best way for each of us to take for He is the WAY, and we need to trust Him to lead us, even when the route is overshadowed by dark and thunderous clouds.
As we trust His Word, carry out His will, abide in Him, and He is us, we will bear the fruit of patience and hone our faith in Him. His way will lead us deeper into fellowship with Himself and enable us to mature in our faith, grow in grace, and gain a deeper knowledge of the holy. He desires us to enjoy a satisfying and unbroken communion with Himself.

Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Our United Prayer:
Lead us, Lord, in the path of Your choosing. Lead us, we pray, along a level path for Your name's sake. Thank You, Father, that You are a faithful God. You are the One who leads and guides, and You are the One Who corrects and trains. Lord, shepherd us along the path of Your choosing. Your love and faithfulness are without measure, and we trust You to lead us along the path of righteousness all the days of our lives. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Eternal Well Of Water Within

4/22/2026

Many people have a historical faith in Jesus Christ. They believe many of the facts that surround His life and consider Him to be a good man and one of the finest moral teachers ever to have lived. To some, their belief in Jesus remains a historical fact and not a saving faith.
When belief in the historical Jesus becomes faith in the person and work of Christ as Son of God and Son of Man, He is removed from being an unapproachable historical figure to a very present personal Savior Who loves us and gave His life for us.
When He moves into our life, He becomes a very part of us. We not only know about Him, but we know Him personally and love Him, because He first loved us.
He is The Eternal Well Of Water Within, that springs up into everlasting life. He calls to all who are thirsty to come and drink at His fountain of life.

John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You that Jesus is that well-spring of water that has been poured into our weary souls and is a well of water springing up unto everlasting life. Enable us to be channels through whom Your love and refreshment may stream out to all those with whom we come in contact with so that they may know You as the water of their life. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Group That Are Blessed By God

4/21/2026

Too often when we look at a verse in Scripture, we interpret it from a present-day, human viewpoint, rather than in its biblical context and from God's perspective - and this is one such verse. Many look at this verse and say, "Ah! If I am pure in heart, then I will see God. I want to see God... so I will do this good thing and perform that righteous act, to make sure that I am pure in heart - and then I will see God."
The moment that we are saved by grace through faith, we have an assurance that we are part of The Group That Are Blessed By God and will indeed see Him. Not because of what we have done to make our hearts pure, but because of what Christ has done for us so that by faith in His sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection, we are given a pure and holy heart, which will see God.
However, this beautiful beatitude is equally relevant to Church age believers today. Purity of heart, together with meekness of soul and poverty of spirit, is not something that can be attained by self-effort or external, sanctimonious works of the Law. A heart is purified by the inner work of the Holy Spirit in the man or women who is rightly related to God through faith in Christ. How blessed are we, who are inwardly cleansed of sin by the Spirit of God.. through faith in Christ Jesus, our Lord? Blessed indeed, are the pure in heart, "for they shall see God." We have already seen Him, in the face of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that our hearts have been cleansed of sin, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. Thank You that He is the image of the invisible God, Who has been revealed to us, by faith. Keep us low at the Cross and broken before You, and open our eyes to see more and more of His beauty and grace, and we pray that we may live to His praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Spiritual Temple Of God

4/20/2026

At the start of His ministry, we see Christ cleansing the Temple of God. But once again, only a day after the official, final, and prophesied presentation of Himself to the people of Israel as their King and promised Messiah, we see Christ once again cleansing the House of the Lord, driving out those that bought and sold there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those that sold doves, with scathing words from both Isaiah and Jeremiah: "It is written, My house will be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves."
We as the Body of Christ, are The Spiritual Temple Of God, and in many ways, both individually and corporately, we have allowed the world to be assimilated into our hearts and minds which is identified in corrupt carnality, which dishonors our God and Savior. Both individually and collectively, the Church needs to be cleansed so that when Christ returns to take us to be with Himself we will be pure and chaste. May we take these warning to heart and seek to pursue holiness in our own lives and fellowships so that we may be presented to Him radiant, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but a holy and blameless  for His honor and glory.

Matthew 21:13 “It is written,” he said to them, “’My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, search our hearts and see if there is any carnality or wicked way in us that is dishonoring to You. Open our hearts to a greater understanding of Your Word so that we may grow in the grace and knowledge of You and learn how to live for You. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

The Faithful Of God

4/19/2026

From the very beginning of the Christian Church, false teachers have abounded and deceitful doctrines of demons have tortured and twisted the good news of the gospel, blinding the eyes of the unsaved and causing many believers to be led astray.
The serious problem of twisting God's Word and causing many to stray from the truth and adopt another gospel, can clearly be seen in the challenging letters Christ delivers to the seven churches, through his servant, John, in Revelation chapters 2 and 3.
Those that fall prey to the ungodly teaching of the manipulative spirit are those who seek spiritual enlightenment apart from God and crave eternal life without believing on Christ's sacrificial death. They consider themselves superior to the rest of earth's population and are ever learning some new 'mystical' spirituality, while never coming to the truth of the gospel.
That promise is still open today to all The Faithful Of God who hold on to what we have, until Christ's returns for His Church.

Revelation 2:25 But hold fast what you have till I come.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the letters to the seven Churches in the book of Revelation and for the encouragement and warnings we gain from reading them and putting them into practice. We pray we would not be influenced by any enticing teacher of a false doctrine, and we ask for discernment to recognize and reject any unscriptural thing that tries to seep into the Body of Christ. Expose those who are deliberately enticing Your people into a trap, through a spirit of control or an over-zealous lust for the dark spirituality. Guard our hearts and nourish our souls, we pray, and may we hold fast to the truth of the gospel we love until Jesus comes. In His precious name we Pray, AMEN.

Boast In The Lord

4/18/2026

There is nothing in our own character, accomplishments, achievements, or ancestry, about which we can glory, for the record of our life is blotted with crimson-coated sin and is stained with innumerable ungodly acts. Our hearts are polluted with un-sanctified imaginations and our life is under the curse of sin.
Our souls have nothing about which to boast... in and of itself. However, I will certainly make my Boast In The Lord. I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall be continuously on my lips. My soul shall rejoice in God my Savior and all who are humble of heart will hear the good news of the gospel of grace and be glad.
I shall forever boast in the God of my salvation... for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes on HIM would not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved you and me, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

Psalm 34:2 I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to be part of Your family and receive salvation by grace through faith, in the shed blood of our great God and Redeemer. Thank You that we have been made new creations in Christ and are part of Your eternal family. In humility of heart and overwhelming thankfulness, we pray that from this day forward, we will glorify in nothing else, but Jesus Christ and His righteousness - through Whom the world has been crucified to us, and we to the world. Praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

How To Live A Sanctified Life

4/17/2026

This particular letter holds a very special place in the canon of Scripture, as it is said to be the first letter of instruction and encouragement that the apostle Paul wrote to any Church. In it, he set out the principles and practice for a good and godly Christian life. He wrote to remind them of the hope of rewards at Christ's return.
Paul's letters are filled with wise instruction on How To Live A sanctified Life of a normal Christian, and often include the names of other brothers and sisters in the faith who labored with him in spreading abroad the gospel.
May we all be like Paul, and remember to lift up our fellow Christian brothers and sisters in continuous and loving prayer and heartfelt petitions. Let us pray that their hearts would be also established in the Lord and blameless before Him and that they would walk in holiness before our God and Father, encouraging one another as they look for the any-day appearance of our great Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the Scriptures. Thank You for the truths they contain and the lessons we can learn from them. Guide us into all truth and help us to abound in love toward our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to be proactive in our prayers, established in the faith, and faithful in interceding for all the Body of Christ. May we ever hope in the Lord and look for His any day return, when He comes to take us to be with Himself. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Let us run to obtain the reward; let us run to win!

4/16/2026

Let us run to obtain the reward; let us run to win!
We do not run the race set before us to win our salvation or get to heaven, that is a free gift of grace. We participate in the Christian race to win a promised reward and gain the approval of our Father in heaven.
We are not to live our Christian life in a half-hearted manner, but rather we are to give it our all. We should run the race with single-minded resoluteness of purpose, determined to do our very best to the glory of God. We are to run so that we may obtain the prize.
We can run the race in a bed of sickness or at the kitchen sink. We can run to win at the office or at the supermarket, the promised prize is for all who live godly in Christ Jesus and who conduct their Christian life in spirit and in truth.
We are to be faithful to the point of death, and stand fast in the Lord and in the power of His might. We are to be disciplined in our lives, exercise self-control, and consider the needs of others before our own.
We are to endure patiently through our trials, rejoicing in the Lord always, praying continually, and in everything giving thanks, this is the will of God for all who are running the Christian race.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we pray that we will run the race that is set before us, to Your praise and glory. May we conduct our Christian lives in the power of Your Holy Spirit. May we exercise self-control and consider the needs of others before our own. May we endure patiently in the trials of life. Lord, we want to run the race to win, to Your honor and glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
