PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY
Let us give thanks to the LORD, in remembrance of his holiness. Let us give thanks for the LORD as we commemorate the glory in the Holy One. Let us give praise to His name together, for sending Jesus to be our kinsman-Redeemer and to die on the Cross for our sake, and may we never cease to give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for all Your loving-kindness towards us and we join with the Psalmist in giving grateful thanks to You, for You are good and tender, gentle and faithful, upright and true. We thank You for Your daily mercies and rejoice for all the kindness You show towards us. We too give thanks with our whole hearts and proclaim with our mouths, 'the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever'. Thank You, Heavenly Father, and in Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. While-ever there is life the unspeakably precious gift from God is still available to whosever will accept God’s indescribable gift – His only begotten Son. Thanks be to God for His indescribable and unspeakably precious gift! If you have not yet accepted him into your life, we will pray for you and with you, How Amazing is the Power of Prayer! Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father – thank You for the unspeakably precious gift of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ – Who has been freely given to us and to all who will simply believe on His name. Father the gift of Your only begotten Son is beyond all expression, beyond all measure and beyond all bounds. We worship You for Your unspeakably precious gift to us and we pray for those who seek you - in JESUS name we pray, AMEN. The ubiquitous Christmas candy cane is a symbol of the simple roots of Christianity, one so old that we have all but forgotten its origin. The candy takes the shape of a shepherd's crook, representing the humble shepherds who were first to worship the newborn Christ. Our Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for sending Jesus to us and to die for our sins. Thank You that His blood has paid the full penalty for our sins and that the power of sin in our lives has been broken through Him. Thank You that Christ's sacrifice reveals Your immense love for mankind - and for us. We just want to give You thanks and praise for this free gift of salvation that is open to whosoever will come. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. Wreaths have been used as a decorative sign of Christmas for hundreds and hundreds of years. . The wreath has significant meaning for the season. It's circular shape represents eternity, for it has no beginning and no end. It represents an unending circle of life. A candle on the wreath symbolizes the light that Jesus brought into the world. So that whoever believes will in him have Eternal life. Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness - even so the Lord Jesus came to the earth for us. We pray that many today would come to know Jesus and have faith lead them to eternal life, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN. The rejoicing of our soul, is that part of us that contains our individuality. It is the seat of our very being that touches the material elements of our humanity, while the joyful praise in our spirit is that deepest element within our being that touches God, as we walk in spirit and truth - and reaches out from Him to others, as we witness of the wonderful truth of the gospel of Christ, as our hearts also exalt in, "God OUR Savior." Our Prayer:
Loving Father, We stand in awe of Your amazing grace and wonderful goodness. And the more we come to understand Your indescribable love towards us, the more our souls and spirits unite in glorifying Your holy name and worshipping You, our Savior and Lord. Thank You that you gave Your eternal Son to be born as Jesus, and Savior of the world. We pray, in Jesus' name, that we may be used to share the wonders of Your saving grace to others, AMEN. |
