PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

Our Perfect Savior

12/15/2025

The eternal Son of God in the person of the sinless Son of Man was full of God's grace and goodness, which alone qualified Him to become Our Perfect Savior and sacrifice for sin. The incarnate Word of God, made in the likeness of human flesh, was also full of truth which alone qualifies Him to be the perfect source of God's completed revelation.
Revelation (truth) from our Father in heaven, came through the eternal Son of God Who became the perfect Son of Man: "For in these last day, God has spoken to us through His Son Whom He appointed Heir of all things, and through Whom also He made the universe."
Salvation (grace) came through the only begotten Son of the Father, the unique God-Man, Christ Jesus the righteous: "For by grace are You saved, through faith in HIM and not of works, lest anyone should boast."

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to become the unique 'God-Man' Who alone is full of grace and truth, Who alone was qualified to become our perfect, Redeemer, and to die on the Cross as our heavenly substitute for sin. Praise His holy name, AMEN.

There Is One Body Of Believers

12/14/2025

Having spent three glorious chapters outlining who we are in Christ, Paul turns His attention to grounds for unity within the Church. He reminds us that There Is One Body Of Believers (the Body of Christ), one Holy Spirit Who dwells and seals in each believer, one hope of our calling which is reserved for us in heaven, and one Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ.
There is also one faith with a settled body of doctrine that is clearly laid out in Scriptures, one baptism into the Body of Christ at the moment of salvation, one God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and one Holy Spirit Who gives spiritual gifts to all who are positioned in Christ. And having laid out our position in Christ, Paul gives details of four groups of believers that are given a particular role in the Church: apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor-teachers.
Christ is the Good Shepherd. He is the Great Shepherd. He is the Chief Shepherd of the sheep, and pastor-teachers are called to be under- shepherds; to care for the flock of God, to protect the people of God, to guide, to discipline, and to teach the whole counsel of God to the Church, and this is carried out through the systematic and clear teaching of the God-breathed Scriptures

Ephesians 4:11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wonderful way that You have protected Your Word through the foundation of the apostles and prophets, where Christ Himself is the chief Cornerstone. Thank You also, for those that are called to be evangelists and pastor-teachers. We pray that You would equip each one for the service to which they are called, and may their lives and ministries bring glory to You. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

God Still Knows The Hearts Of Men And Women

12/13/2025

I am sure when he got up that morning, Zacchaeus did not expect that before long he would be entertaining the Son of God in his own home.
As a rich, important, and chief tax-collector, he was an individual who was hated by the Jews, despised by the Romans, and was quite possibly a man who had been a swindler or a thief. But Jesus took time to come to him, to call to him, and to open up for him the path of salvation, for Jesus had come to seek and to save that which was lost.
No doubt God had been preparing the heart of this wealthy yet detested tax-collector. God is able to discern the motives of every man, and this meeting with Christ brought a sinner to repentance when confronted with the incomparable perfection of the Son of Man.
How different the Lord Jesus was from those critical Jewish leaders, who so readily accused the Lord Jesus of fraternizing with tax-collectors and sinners! But that day, salvation came to the house of Zacchaeus. The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
God Still Knows The Hearts Of Men And Women, and He is still seeking and saving those which are lost and bringing salvation to many souls who trust in Him by grace through faith.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You came to seek and to save lost sinners like us and for the amazing love and grace You have bestowed upon us. Thank You for forgiving our sins, for bringing salvation into our hearts, and for making it Your dwelling place. Keep us humble in heart, meek in spirit, and submissive to Your Holy Spirit, and may we be used to Your greater glory in all we say and do. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

His Saving Grace

The more we learn of God’s Word and come to an understanding of Who God is, what He is doing, and all that He has planned for those that love Him, the more we see an unveiling of His glory upon glory and the more we recognize God's grace upon grace that is daily being showered upon all His blood-bought children. Our risen, ascended, and glorified Savior has saved us to the uttermost.
His Saving Grace is not only for the eternal ages to come but will be carried through to its ultimate completion, for He will never abandon any that have trusted in His name as Savior and who have come to Him for pardon and peace. There is no time nor place where His sacrifice of intercession does not reach us, thus underlining His promise: "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
The more we learn of God's Word and the wonderful covenant relationship that He has with His Church, the more we discover His showers of blessing and abundant privileges raining down upon our heads and come to an understanding of Who God is, what He is doing, and all that He has planned for those that love Him.
The more we see an unveiling of His glory upon glory, the more we recognize God's grace upon grace that is daily being showered upon all His blood-bought children. Surely, we should love to the uttermost the One Who has saved us .

Hebrews 7:25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son Who has saved and sanctified us to the uttermost and is daily interceding for us. Praise Your wonderful name. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Joyfully Submit To His Perfect Will In Our Lives

12/12/2025

May we so grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus that we die to ourselves and live for Christ. Day by day, may we be so united in spirit and truth that we are being transformed in the likeness of the Lord Jesus so that the things that we do and the words that we speak are carried out because we abide in Christ and He in us. Just as Jesus did not speak on His own initiative, but did so through the Father living within and working through Him, may we not speak in our own authority but Joyfully Submit To His Perfect Will In Our Lives.
John 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through the Lord Jesus Who is the visible image of Your invisible glory. Thank You for His amazing example of how each one of Your children have been called to live. May we submit our lives to You each day so that as we abide in You, the words that we speak and the things we do, are through You living within and working through us. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Follow Me

The apostle John earnestly desired to tell all that he knew and all he had experienced and witnessed of the glory and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. John had spent over three years walking and talking with the Lord and learning from Him. He had been with Jesus constantly, ever since that decisive day on the shores of Lake Galilee when Christ called out to John: "Follow Me."
John was eager to share all that he had learned from the beginning concerning the Word of God made flesh. John was anxious to bear witness of Christ's life and to declare the good news of the glorious gospel of grace and the joys of eternal Life which was with the Father, and which was made manifest in the Person and work of Christ Jesus our Savior.
Love, forgiveness, and fellowship is what the world seeks most, and yet true love, true forgiveness, and true fellowship is only found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God in His grace took upon Himself the form of a servant and was born into the human race so that at the appointed time He could walk to the Cross in our place, and take upon Himself the accumulated weight of mankind's sin. Jesus alone opened up the way for unconditional love, true forgiveness, and beautiful fellowship with the Father, through time and into eternity.

1 John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Jesus. we glorify in His name and praise You for the good news of the glorious gospel of grace, for the forgiveness of sin, for freedom from the bondage of Satan, for fellowship with the Father, and for life everlasting. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

A Spiritual Life

12/9/2025

The moment that we were born again we were given life - A Spiritual Life - life from above. We were made alive by the Spirit of God and given a new life in Christ. We were born into a new creation by the Spirit. We were transferred from being in Adam to being in Christ. We were taken out of the old fallen creation in Adam and placed into the new perfect creation in Christ. At the point of our salvation, we were made alive by the Spirit of God. Because we have that new, born-again life, we are to live and walk by the Spirit. Since we have life by means of the Spirit, we are to continue to live our lives by means of the Spirit.
As we live our Christian life, we have a choice. We either chose to allow the old sin nature to dictate what we do in our Christian walk, or we will allow the Spirit of God to lead and guide, to command and to control. To walk in the Spirit is to allow the Word of Christ to dwell in us richly in all wisdom and teaching. To walk in the Spirit is to walk by faith and to immerse ourselves in the Word of God, to encourage one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, as we sing with grace and thanksgiving in our hearts to the Lord.

Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that at the point of our salvation, we were made alive in the Spirit and became one with Christ Jesus. We pray that we may live the rest of our lives walking in spirit and truth. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

A Great and A Glorious Hope

12/8/2025

The God and Father of Jesus Christ is deserving of our thankful praise and eternal worship for His overflowing grace and His abundant mercy. He is FATHER with respect to Christ's divinity and He is GOD regarding the humanity of our Lord Jesus and how we bless His wonderful name. This is my Father - and this is your Father. This is my God and your God.
It is A Great and A Glorious Hope. It is a certain hope and positive hope. It is a hope anchored on God's unchangeable promises and steadfast name, written by the Lord's dear disciple, Peter. Though we delight in John as the apostle of love and Paul as our chief apostle of faith, we identify Peter as our great apostle of hope.
In this chapter, Peter reminds us about our great inheritance that is being kept for us in heaven, and that this life is our one opportunity to prove our faith, as we walk by the Spirit to the praise and glory of the Father, eventually resulting in "praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Today we are strangers in a hostile world, in a place that is passing away, but our hope is securely grounded on Christ, Who is our Chief Apostle and our Great High Priest.
Let us live upright and godly lives in this present age as we wait for that blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, in Whom we trust.

1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, how we worship You for Your overflowing grace and abundant mercy. Thank You that through faith in the death and Resurrection of Jesus, You have brought us into Your family and set before us the living hope of heaven. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

For All Of Us Who Have Trusted Christ As Our Savior

12/7/2025

For All Of Us Who Have Trusted Christ As Our Savior, these poignant words can pierce our own hearts as we begin to understand that the sinless Son of God was willingly afflicted, bruised, pierced, and crushed with wounds that we merit.
By His death and Resurrection, the Lord Jesus paid the enormous price for our sins and broke the power of sin and death in our life forever, returning us into fellowship with the Father. We are accepted by God, because of Him.
Christ will one day return as Israel's Messiah once they cry out as a nation: "Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord," but first He had to be wounded for their transgressions. He also had to be wounded for our sins. He was bruised for their iniquity, and He was bruised for you and me as well.
The chastisement of all our peace was laid upon Him that day on Calvary's Cross.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that the Lord Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions and bore our sins in His body on the tree. Thank You that our guilt has been exchanged for peace with God and the peace of God now rests in our hearts. Thank You that we have been forever released from the bondage of sin and death, and that by His stripes we have been healed, clothed in His righteousness, and made children of God. Thank You that Christ Jesus is our Redeemer and the sinless Substitute for our sins which, by His death and Resurrection, have been flung as far as the east is from the west. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

We Are All Members Of Christ's Body

12/6/2025

We Are All Members Of Christ's Body and, like the Philippians Christians, are also partners in the glorious gospel of grace. We were saved by grace through faith when we were baptized into Christ's Body and we are to live by grace through faith and to serve the Lord by grace through faith.
The world is filled with people who are hurting, searching, and in desperate need to hear the blessed hope of the gospel. The harvest is white but the workers are few, so let us build each other up in the Body of Christ, helping each other, loving one another and taking the gospel into the world.
May our Christian life and service be a loving partnership with the other members of Christ's Body. We are not in competition against each other but are co-workers together of the glorious gospel of grace.
Let us mirror the life of Paul who despite the hardships he faced in life prayed with joyful thanksgiving for His fellow-believers. We are All United By Prayer!

Philippians 1:5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Thank You, Father, that in Christ we are fellow workers with other members of Your Body. Help us to lift up others in prayer and praise, and to faithfully carry out our part as members of Your Body. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Godly Attributes Of A Virtuous Lady

12/5/2025

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom we are told at the beginning of Proverbs, while at the end we discover that the attributes and characteristics of the wise woman are summed up in a few short verses which climaxes with the short statement: "A woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised."
The Godly Attributes Of A Virtuous Lady are unattainable in our own strength, for the works of the flesh, whether good or bad, are rooted in the fruit of the old sin nature and are unacceptable to the Lord. But she who desires to be holy and virtuous, gracious and good, can only achieve this spiritual fruit through the power of the life of Christ.
The fear of the Lord is rooted in dependency upon Christ to work His work through us. The fruit of the Spirit can only be produced in the one who trusts in the Lord with all her heart and does not lean on her own understanding. The beginning of wisdom and the fruit of virtue and can be discovered in the one who presents her body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto the Lord.
Who can find a virtuous woman? She can only be found in the one where Christ is all in all.

Proverbs 31:10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, we praise and thank You that we are positioned in Christ and clothed with His righteousness. We pray that as we abide in You and You in us, we may willingly present ourselves as living sacrifices unto You and allow Your Holy Spirit to conform us into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus more and more with each passing day so that when others look at us, they see Christ in us, the hope of glory. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

It Is The Love Of God

12/4/2025

It is the love of God that causes the Father to give His only begotten Son to die as the one and only perfect sacrifice for our sin. It is the love of God that caused the Lord Jesus to willingly stretch out His innocent hands and have them driven through with cruel nails. It Is The Love Of God that sent the Holy Spirit to be our ever-present, Comforter.  It is the love of God that has bestowed on all that believe on Christ Jesus as our sin-bearing Redeemer to be called God's children.
Because the Lord Jesus was despised and rejected of men, so are we. But also, because the Lord Jesus is the beloved Son of God and rests in the bosom of the Father, so do we. Because we are in Christ and members of His Body, we who were dead in trespasses and sins and without hope in the world are now called God's children
.
1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, we praise Your name for Your great love toward us. Thank You for loving us enough to save us and thank You that in Christ, we are called Your children. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Trust Our Heavenly Father

12/3/2025

In this passage, the Lord is arguing from the lesser to the greater, from the imperfect to the perfect. IF a fallen human parent, who has a sin nature is capable of showing love, care, and consideration to their child who asks them for something, how much more will our holy, Heavenly Father Who loves us with an everlasting love, bestow His gifts and graces on His blood-bought children?
Throughout the Word of God, we are reminded of His great love toward us; a never-failing love that passes human comprehension. Initially, we read that He loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son to become the sacrifice for our sin. But once saved by grace through faith in Him, we are reminded of the great love the Father has lavished on each of us, that we should be called children of God.
Just as a child trusts his parents to give him good things, so those of us who are God's children have to Trust Our Heavenly Father to give good things to us.
How often do we forget to ask Him? How frequently do we tire of asking, when the answer seems long in coming? We KNOW that all good and perfect things come to us from our Father Who loves and cares for each one of us with an everlasting love. Let us not listen to the lies of the enemy, but prove our faith in HIM and stand fast on the word of TRUTH, by asking God for all we need and expecting Him to answer
.
Matthew 7:11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Lord, how privileged we are that You are our Heavenly Father Who loves each one of Your children with an everlasting love and provides all we need, according to Your riches in glory. Thank You that You loved us enough to send Jesus to die for our sins, and that You delight to give good gifts to Your children. Lord, we know too often we have tried to provide for our own needs without asking You, or we have lost faith and stopped seeking You when an answer is delayed. We realize how this must sadden Your heart. Thank You that You have provided over and above all that we could ask or think, not only in this world but in the ages to come. This we Pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Unspeakably Precious Gift From God

12/2/2025

A Gift for which payment must be made is not a gift. It is a purchase, an acquisition, needing to be paid for, needing to be bought with a price. A gift is something that is given freely, given without any strings attached, otherwise it cannot be called a gift. Christ Jesus was God's free gift of grace to every member of the human race.
A gift that is not accepted is still a gift. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was God's free, indescribable, inestimable gift of grace that was given freely to every man and woman without any strings attached. Some accept this unspeakably precious gift and others reject it, but the gift of God to humanity, which is too wonderful for words, was nonetheless given to ALL.
Simply accepting this Unspeakably Precious Gift From God (which we do by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, the only begotten Son of God), causes a whole host of other amazing things to be showered without limit upon the blessed recipient.  The moment God's gift of grace is accepted, He opens the floodgates of the riches of His grace over the blessed beneficiary.
Simply rejecting this unspeakably precious gift from God (which happens when people refusing to accept and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God), results in everlasting condemnation and spiritual death.
While-ever there is life, the unspeakably precious gift from God is still available to whosoever will accept God's indescribable gift - His only begotten Son.

2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for the unspeakably precious gift of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ Who has been freely given to us and to all who will simply believe on His name. Father, the gift of Your only begotten Son is beyond all expression, beyond all measure, and beyond all bounds. We fall on our knees and worship You for Your unspeakably precious gift to us. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

An Invitation To Believe

12/1/2025

God speaks lovingly and truthfully to His people, and in Isaiah 55, He desires that they come to Him and be restored back into His grace and favor. He longs to bestow His righteous blessings upon His people. He invites them to come and partake of His unconditional salvation. The Lord offers all those who are weary, heavy-laden, hungry and in need of refreshment to come to Him and drink of His gracious provision, at no cost and without money.
Those who heed His Word will discover that all His promises are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus. All who listen to His voice will be blessed beyond imagination, eye has not seen and ear has not heard the wonderful things God has prepared for those who love Him. His Word is true and absolutely dependable.
The choice of God's blessing or cursing's is simply An Invitation To Believe, or a warning against unbelief. It is a gracious invitation to the world, to consider their ways. It is a godly summons to the lost, to come to Him and trust Him for salvation, for it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and faith in Christ.
This should be a HUGE wake-up call for Christians to mend their ways and for sinners to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is NO OTHER NAME given among mankind whereby we must be saved. REMEMBER: God has placed His Word above His holy name and ALL that is written in Scripture WILL be fulfilled.

Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Thank You that the Scriptures will not return to You void, but will accomplish all that You have determined. Thank You for Your plan of salvation and the simplicity of trusting in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. Stir up the faith of Christians everywhere, and kindle afresh the gifts in us, knowing that the time is short. Renew our desire to share the gospel with the lost and bring many to faith in Christ in these closing days of the Church age. This we ask in Jesus' name and for His name's sake, AMEN.
