PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY

God's Love Is Everlasting And Indestructible

7/23/2026

The Love Of God is as unfathomable as it is eternal, yet the Lord Jesus commanded us to love as He loved, and Paul prayed that love would overflow in our hearts. Paul's difficult trials and the chains of tribulation that constrained him did not cause him to become bitter in his attitude towards God. Rather, he recognized that in all things, God, in His gracious-love and tender-mercy, was using them for good.
God's Love Is Everlasting And Indestructible. His love is infinite and without measure, and however much love has been poured into our hearts from above, there is always more room for His over-abounding love. His love flows from His well-spring of life and is a never-ending source and supply of all that is needed for life and godliness.
But it was not simply an abundance of love for which Paul prayed, but that their love would abound more and more in real knowledge and discernment. He prayed that the love in their hearts would be endowed with godly wisdom, and a knowledge of the holy that is able to approve things that are excellent so that they may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

Philippians 1:9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of prayer and for placing us in Your family as Your children. How blessed we are to be members of the body of Christ, and we thank You for the example that Paul the apostle set, as he lifted up the body of Christ in prayer. We pray also for our brothers and sisters in Christ, that their love may increase and multiply and that they too grow in grace and in a knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In His name we Pray, AMEN.

The Promise Of God

7/15/2026

We all need power in our lives, but true strength does not come from relying on our own capabilities but on Christ Who has promised that His grace is sufficient for all the difficulties and dangers of life we may have to face. His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses, when we are weak in our own abilities then we become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
We all need love in our lives, but true godly love is not something that we struggle to produce through our own fleshly efforts, but can only be produced in us as spiritual fruit as we abide in Christ and He in us.
We all need sound judgment and a disciplined mind, but we cannot achieve this by self-effort and fleshly struggling, nor can this be developed through extra-biblical training-programs or webinars. But as we look to Jesus and willingly submit to the ongoing child-training and chastening work of the Holy Spirit within, we will experience an inexplicable, inner peace that passes understanding, this is The Promise Of God to all whose mind is resting in Christ.

2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Your Holy Spirit and thank You that our lives are hid with Christ in God. Thank You that You have not given us spirits of fear, but of power, and love, and of sound minds. May we not fear rejection or ridicule in this increasingly hostile world, nor fear the likelihood of persecution or pain. But may we fan into flames our faith in Christ so that in Him, we may stand firm in the evil days. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Awakened By The Holy Spirit

There are certain Psalms that resonate with the spirit of a saved person, and Psalm 32 is one such sacred song. It opens with David considering how blessed are those whose transgression are forgiven and whose sins are covered.
The saved celebrate his grace, because they have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's illuminating light and perfect peace. He rejoices that his human spirit has been Awakened By The Holy Spirit and instead of being enslaved to sin, at enmity with God, under eternal condemnation, and without hope in the world, they become part of God's new creation in Christ, and are promised joy in the eternal ages to come.
When lessons have been learned and fellowship is restored and maintained, God always brings us into closer communion with Him. We will not only hear His voice saying: "This is the way, walk in it," but He will guide us with His eye, teach us greater truths, extend our understanding of Himself and deepen our intimacy in a very precious and personal way.

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, there are many times when we have failed to listen to Your voice, gone our own way, and fallen flat on our face! Thank You that we can confess our faults to You, and that You are faithful and just to forgive all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to grow in grace, mature in our faith, and draw ever closer to You. Keep us alert to your instructions, show us the path we should follow, and guide us with Your eye, we pray. How wonderful to know that You have scheduled every day of our lives for our greater benefit. May we never stray from Your perfect path, and may our lives be godly witnesses to others and blessings to You. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Let Us Rejoice In The Lord Our God

6/2/2026

This beautiful Psalm of David is a most graphic descriptor of the Lord Jesus Christ Who, like David, was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Like David, the Lord Jesus was also a Man who trusted in the Lord, His God, and rested His soul in His Heavenly Father. Indeed, within the Psalm are some of the famous words Jesus spoke on the Cross: "Into your hands I commit my spirit."
Despite the long list of adversaries that seek his destruction, the sorrows and sighing that sap his strength and the slanderous conspiracies that are plotted against him, David is able to declare: "But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord. I rejoice to say, 'You are my God.'"
The times in which we live are becoming increasingly difficult, causing the man or woman of God to cling ever closer to our God and Father. Let Us Rejoice In The Lord Our God and proclaim with David: "I trust in You O Lord, for You are my God."

Psalm 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.”
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the encouragement and lessons we can lean from the beautiful pictures of Jesus that are found in the book of Psalms. We trust in You and pray that day by day our souls may rest in Christ. Thank you for being our God and our Father, our Lord and our Savior, AMEN.

God Is Perfect Love

5/16/2026

Of all the gifts and graces that are poured out in great abundance into the lives of believers, there are three that out-shine and out-last all others. When prophecy is complete, languages cease, signs are silenced, and miracles of health, healing, provision, and protection are no longer needed. We are told that these three spiritual fruit of God’s amazing grace will continue and will remain and abide into the eternal state: faith, hope, and love.
The eternal God Is Perfect Love and the perfect love of God has been eternally poured into our hearts through faith in Christ. But in this present world, we are taking our first steps on the pathway of love: a journey of love that will only increase through time and into eternity as we bathe in His presence and gaze into His face.
The love of God that He has for us that will move us ever closer to the love that we have for Him as we abide in Him and He in us, through time and into eternity.

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Our United Prayer:
Thank You Father for Your gift of salvation by grace alone, simply because we believe in Your Son. Thank You for the hope that is set before us and thank You for the love of the Lord Jesus, which was demonstrated to us on a wooden cross, over 2000 years ago. May His love flood our hearts and pour through us into the lives of others, that they may know Your love, have faith in Your finished work and receive that blessed hope in their hearts, that only comes from You, in Jesus name we Pray, AMEN.

The Eternal Well Of Water Within

4/22/2026

Many people have a historical faith in Jesus Christ. They believe many of the facts that surround His life and consider Him to be a good man and one of the finest moral teachers ever to have lived. To some, their belief in Jesus remains a historical fact and not a saving faith.
When belief in the historical Jesus becomes faith in the person and work of Christ as Son of God and Son of Man, He is removed from being an unapproachable historical figure to a very present personal Savior Who loves us and gave His life for us.
When He moves into our life, He becomes a very part of us. We not only know about Him, but we know Him personally and love Him, because He first loved us.
He is The Eternal Well Of Water Within, that springs up into everlasting life. He calls to all who are thirsty to come and drink at His fountain of life.

John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You that Jesus is that well-spring of water that has been poured into our weary souls and is a well of water springing up unto everlasting life. Enable us to be channels through whom Your love and refreshment may stream out to all those with whom we come in contact with so that they may know You as the water of their life. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

Presenting Our Bodies To The Lord As Living Sacrifices

2/7/2026

Having thoroughly and systematically presented every aspect of the glorious gospel of salvation, and the eternal foundation of God's amazing grace upon which these everlasting truths rest, Paul earnestly urges believers in Christ to practically apply all that he has taught in this weighty epistle to the Romans, by Presenting Our Bodies To The Lord As Living Sacrifices.
We are saved entirely because of God's wonderful grace. There is nothing we can do to repay God, but surely in the light of its eternal glories and benefits we can offer ourselves to Him in love and gratitude, by presenting our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is our spiritual worship.
This is not a command, God wants our love and service to be rendered freely and willingly, but in light of the riches of God's free grace which He has poured out in great measure on fallen sinners simply because we trusted in Christ as our Savior. It should be our joy and delight to present our bodies, day by day, in spiritual worship as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the Lord.

Romans 12:1  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Our United Prayer:
Lord, take our lives and let them be consecrated to You. Take our lives Lord, we pour our lives out as living sacrifices to You. Praise Your holy name for the amazing gift of salvation that You have given to us, by grace through faith. You alone are worthy of our love and praise forever and ever. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Eternal Son Of God

1/14/2026

The Spirit of truth is witness to the Word of truth and so John can proclaim that we know that The Eternal Son Of God has come to earth to live and to die as the perfect, sinless Son of Man. John explains that the Spirit of truth has given us understanding in Him: "He is the visible image of the invisible God, full of grace and truth." He alone has made the Father known to all who will trust in His name.
Love of the Lord Jesus and obedience to His commands are the focal points of John's writing so that all who believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God would know, without question, that they have eternal life in Him.
It is this confidence in Christ that enables John to write that we know that the Son of God has come. We know that Christ has made the Father known to us, and we know that in Him we have been given spiritual understanding and godly wisdom.
God, in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, came to earth to reconcile mankind to the Father through the Son and to give spiritual understanding and godly wisdom to all who would trust in His name. He is the only way to God, the only truth from God, and the only life of God.

1 John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You sent Your only begotten Son to become our Savior. Thank You that in Your goodness and grace, we have been given understanding by the Holy Spirit so that we can know Him more fully. He is the only way to God, the only truth from God, and the only life of God. We pray that we would spend the rest of our lives walking in the truth, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Love As He Loves

10/25/2025

Long-suffering and patient endurance in the midst of provocation, and a kindness that looks first to the needs of others, are the first two evidences of love. Love is patient, and love is kind. Godly love is the exact opposite of unspiritual behavior. Love does not envy, love is not boastful or conceited, nor it is jealous, arrogant, argumentative, carnal-minded, discontented, immoral, inconsiderate, unloving, self-inflated, selfish, or critical of others.
Jesus does not envy, and Jesus is not boastful nor conceited. Jesus is not rude nor does He insist on His own way. Jesus is neither irritable nor resentful, and Jesus does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but He rejoices with the truth, He is the Truth.  Only in and through Jesus are we able to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things.
When we consider this passage, let us look deeper in the significance of its true meaning, and earnestly pray that Christ may be formed in us so that we are enabled to Love As He Loves.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Picture
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, develop in us the godly fruit of love. May we live in love and seek to love as Christ loved. Keep us from jealousy and boastfulness, and may the love of Jesus be seen in and through us, by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN.
