We are all reminded in many passages in Scripture that we must be watching and waiting in expectation for Christ's return, knowing that He will come for us in the Rapture before this terrible time of Tribulation, which will overtake an unbelieving world who are walking in darkness. But nothing should come as a surprise to those that trust in God and are looking for the blessed hope - the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. We may not know the time that the God the Father will send God the Son to rescue the Body of Christ (the Church) from the wrath that is to come, but We Have His Promise that we are not appointed to wrath, but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. At that time, our perishable body will put on the imperishable and our mortal body will put on immortality. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that we who have trusted Jesus as Savior are not appointed to wrath, but to be rescued from the time of Tribulation that will come on an unsuspecting world as a thief in the night. May we be ready and prepared for that glorious day when Christ comes to rescue His Church, and takes us to be with Himself into heaven. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.

The Bible Is God's Wonderful Plan Of Mankind's Redemption from start to finish. From the beginning in Genesis to the book of Revelation, we discover the plans and purposes of God (which were made in eternity past) unfolding before our eyes and we start to recognize the tender-mercies of our Savior and the loving-kindness of our great Creator. The heavens and earth, which were created, fashioned, formed and filled by God, was cursed because of mankind's sin, and the icy fingers of death continue to strangle and suffocate all the good things that God has made. But it is to be replaced with a new heavens and a new earth where death's destructive grip has been severed forever and the curse that pronounced mankind's eternal separation from God will be fully and finally removed. Christ paid the incredible price for sin: "In His body on the tree," so that all who believe on Him might not perish but be united with Him through time and into eternity. In the beginning, we discover that the Lord laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the work of His hands. They will all perish and wear out like a garment, but God has promised to make a new heavens and a new earth so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in His kindness toward you, me, and all who are in Christ Jesus, all who are saved by grace through faith in Him. Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that we can read about the creation of the world in Genesis and see Your plan of redemption unfold all the way to the creation of a new heaven and earth in Revelation. Thank You for that day when the sin stained world will be destroyed, sin and death will be no more, and You will wipe away every tear from our eyes. Thank You that our eternal future is secure in Christ. He alone is worthy of all our praise and glory, forever and ever, AMEN. From the very beginning of the Christian Church, false teachers have abounded and deceitful doctrines of demons have tortured and twisted the good news of the gospel, blinding the eyes of the unsaved and causing many believers to be led astray. The serious problem of twisting God's Word and causing many to stray from the truth and adopt another gospel, can clearly be seen in the challenging letters Christ delivers to the seven churches, through his servant, John, in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Those that fall prey to the ungodly teaching of the manipulative spirit are those who seek spiritual enlightenment apart from God and crave eternal life without believing on Christ's sacrificial death. They consider themselves superior to the rest of earth's population and are ever learning some new 'mystical' spirituality, while never coming to the truth of the gospel. That promise is still open today to all The Faithful Of God who hold on to what we have, until Christ's returns for His Church. Revelation 2:25 But hold fast what you have till I come. Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the letters to the seven Churches in the book of Revelation and for the encouragement and warnings we gain from reading them and putting them into practice. We pray we would not be influenced by any enticing teacher of a false doctrine, and we ask for discernment to recognize and reject any unscriptural thing that tries to seep into the Body of Christ. Expose those who are deliberately enticing Your people into a trap, through a spirit of control or an over-zealous lust for the dark spirituality. Guard our hearts and nourish our souls, we pray, and may we hold fast to the truth of the gospel we love until Jesus comes. In His precious name we Pray, AMEN. |
