God's Covenant

 God's Covenant with Israel was cut on Mount Sinai and remains to this day. Israel entered into a unique, covenant relationship with God. Despite her disobedience, and despite being set aside for a season (during this Church age), Israel is still one nation under God; the only nation with whom God has ever had a true and lasting covenant relationship.
 As members of Christ's Body, we have been made ministers of the new and better covenant which was promised to Israel. That same covenant was cut at Calvary and it will one day be ratified when Israel cries out to God: "Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord."
 God spoke the world into being in the beginning, and later: "God spoke all these words" to Israel, and entered into the special covenant relationship with His singular covenant people, when they accepted God's spoken terms on Sinai, so long ago.
 God has recorded His God-breathed Word in the Scriptures. Let us study to show ourselves approved unto God. Let us rightly divide the Word of truth. Let us resist the devil and all his evil manipulations, and let us listen to His Voice and trust His Word.
And God spoke all these words, saying:

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth. Give us deeper understanding of Your plans for Israel and Your purposes for the Church. May we study to show ourselves approved unto God. We pray Your Word would dwell in our hearts richly, by faith, with all wisdom and understanding. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
