Let Us Harness Our Hearts To Our Loving Savior

 Christ, our gentle, humble God and Savior offers ALL of us who are weary to come to Him for rest. He urges all who are burdened with sin to take up His yoke and to learn of Him: "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." 
 To be yoked to Christ is the turning of our heart towards His heart. It is aligning our mind with the mind of Christ. He does not call us to bear the problems of life, carry the weight of the day, and take on the distresses of the heart or the trials we face, alone. He comes alongside to help and heal, to encourage and provide the sufficient grace we need for all life and godliness.
 Let Us Harness Our Hearts To Our Loving Savior, take up our cross, die to self and live for Him. Only in Him can we find eternal consolation and a bright hope, His yoke IS easy, His burden IS light, and we WILL find eternal rest for our souls in Him.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which guides us through life and directs us in the ways we should go. Thank You for sending the Lord Jesus to be the Good Shepherd of the sheep and our guiding Light in this darkened world. Help us harness our hearts and lives to Jesus each day, his yoke is easy, His burden is light, and in Him there is rest for our souls. Thank You that we have not been left to bear our problems and the pains of life alone. Use us, we pray, to point others who are distressed and burdened with sin to Jesus. In His name we Pray, AMEN.
