Suffering Turns Into Blessings

 None of us want to suffer. Often we actively resist suffering, and sometimes we view it as correction or punishment from God, especially if it is a fellow believer who is suffering! Yet in his first letter, Peter tells his readers that if we suffer at the hands of ungodly people for righteousness' sake, we are blessed indeed.
 We are not to feel threatened or intimidated by those that hate us. We are not to fear our adversaries or be troubled if they mock our faith or be fearful by their threats and animosity. We should not shrink back from suffering for righteousness' sake, but regard it as a privilege and honor to be worthy to suffer for Him Who died for us and rose again to save our soul. Peter tells us that suffering for the sake of righteousness is a blessing that brings with it great reward and immense joy.
 Suffering Turns Into Blessings, when we realize that we are being identified with Him and we are favored by the Father if we suffer for righteousness' sake
1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we know that in this world we will have tribulation and troubles as children of God. We pray that we would not be fearful but trust in You. We pray that these words of Jesus would sink deep into our hearts in whatever situation we find ourselves in: "In the world you will have tribulation but take courage; We have overcome the world." In Jesus' name, AMEN.
