We Approach The Father Through The Son

 As believers in Christ, we plead His righteousness. As Christians, we come to God in the name of Jesus. We are not worthy to gather up the crumbs under His table, but we can boldly approach the throne of grace because we appeal to Christ's worthiness and call on His righteousness. We petition the Father through the precious blood of His only begotten Son, and we approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus: "For there is no other name given among men through Whom we have access to God."
 We Approach The Father Through The Son, and we have this incredible access through the power of the Holy Spirit, for greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. As we reflect on what Christ has done for us and as we contemplate what the Father has graciously given to sinners who are deserving of hell, should not the soul of every blood-bought child of God be thrilled with grateful thanks and never-ending praise?
 What a privilege to know that it is through Christ alone that we have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, it is by the grace of God that we are what we are: blood-bought children of God with free access into Your presence to find grace to help in time of need. Thank You that Christ paid the full price for our sins and willingly gave up His life so that we might live eternally. Thank You that today He is in heaven interceding for us, and thank You that we have Your Holy Spirit, giving us access to You every moment of the day. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
