We Are Called To Hear And Heed His Word

 The Word of God is living and powerful and As Christians We Are Called To Hear And Heed His Word, but there are many pitfalls which can cause the living seed of God's Word to fall on deaf and unbelieving ears. They might hear the sound, the syntax, and the sentence with their ears, but fail to understand the spiritual truth within their heart. So the Lord spoke to the crowd in veiled language so that those who had ears to hear would hear and would understand.
 As we open the written Word of God, may we focus upon it, hearing it, understanding it, and putting into practice the glorious truths within. May the living Word, Jesus Christ, be the focus of our lives as we seek to live our lives to glorify Him.
Matthew 13:9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to have listening ears and to hear all that You have to say to us. Give us teachable spirits, and may we grow in grace and in knowledge of You. Help us to trust Your Word implicitly, for Your Word is truth. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
