We Belong To God

 The precious blood of the sinless Son of God was shed at Calvary as the purchase price for all who would one day trust in Him as Savior. God's ownerships of all believers dates back to that pivotal day in history when Christ cried out with a jubilant shout: "IT IS FINISHED!"
 We Belong To God, we are His own purchased possession, which is a position of great honor and tremendous responsibility. Our spirit, soul, and body belongs to the Lord, and we are no longer slaves to sin, He paid a high price to buy us back from the slave-market of sin. How important therefore to glorify God in our actions, attitudes, words, and bodies.
 We can no longer think of our body as our own, where we can follow our own selfish fancies, our carnal desires, and our worldly lusts, our body, soul, and spirit belongs to the Lord. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, we are in-dwelt by the Spirit of God and our body belongs to Him. The Lord Jesus created us and He purchased us with His own blood. Let us therefore glorify God in all we are and in all we do.
1 Corinthians 6:20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Our United Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You not only created us, but have purchased us as Your own precious possessions. The price to You was so costly, we will never be able to comprehend it. Thank You that Jesus shed His life blood to purchase us back from the slave market of sin. We pray that we may always glorify You in body, soul, and spirit, from this day forward. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN.
