The job of a police officer is to run toward danger, at the risk of his or her own life, to save and protect strangers. It once was a noble respected profession, but today’s culture has come to expect that many will die senselessly. Let’s pray for the police officers you know and those you don’t know. Those who’ve helped you and even those who might have cited you. It seems it’s becoming a less respected or appreciated profession today, and yet brave men and women are still putting on the uniform to answer the call.  Our Prayer:
We pray Lord for their safety as they walk up to a car or house or unknown situation never knowing what danger awaits them. Lord, remind them to say their own prayer of protection and ask you to intervene against any foe. Let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Lord Jesus, You came that the world might know the peace that You have experienced with the Father eternally. Yet, You taught us that in this life there will be wars and rumors of wars. Nations will rise against nations as violence works itself out in the world. However, through You, the world may be saved. O Lord, send Your spirit into the hearts of all, that the world might know true peace through Your abundant mercy. We pray for this in Your Name, Amen.  Heavenly Father, our Miracle-Worker, too often, we see the consequences of disruption and division in our schools. We come to You with a broken heart to ask that You heal our schools and bring unity and peace. We pray for the teachers that they have wisdom. We pray for the students that they know peace and unity. We pray for the administrative staff that they have patience and understanding. We pray for the parents that they teach their children peace and unity. Lord, educating the next generation is so valuable and we want to be faithful with this responsibility. O Lord bring them peace and unity. Amen.  Heavenly Father, we desperately need your wisdom. You have given us a great country, founded on principles and truths from Your Word. We need men and women who will honor You, trust You, and lead us once again back to You. We pray for leaders who love the things You love and who care more about others than themselves. Raise up our leaders with the greatest potential of godly leadership, those who can ease confusion and unite our nation. You alone hold the power to turn the hearts of our leaders, please listen and use our prayers to move them into the right direction. Help us to be faithful to care and to pursue Your heart in prayer, in Jesus Name We Pray, Amen  Merciful God, hear our fervent prayer for all who suffer from the coronavirus. May those who are infected receive the proper treatment and the comfort of your healing presence. May their caregivers, families and neighbors be shielded from the onslaught of the virus. Give solace to those who grieve the loss of loved ones. Protect and guide those who strive to find a cure, that their work may conquer the disease and restore communities to wholeness and health.
