"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve." The enemy of God is the same evil one that comes to steal our peace, kill our hope, and destroy our testimony. They not only come as a roaring lion but also as an angel of light. We should always be prepared to address disunity within our own churches and in our nations, and quickly deal with those that cause dissensions, division and hindrances contrary to the teaching of God's Word.  Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word. We realize how easily division and disunity can infiltrate the Body of Christ and our nations. We pray that we would walk in spirit and truth and not allow to be drawn into any dissentious discussions with others who are misled, but quickly turn away from those that display any spirit of disunity and discord. We pray that we may grow in grace and keep the eyes of our hearts on Jesus, and that you would give all leaders the wisdom to identify and deal with any strife or divide quickly with their wisdom, for Your greater glory. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.
