No one knows the exact time when the Lamb will take the book from the right hand of Him, Who sits on the throne and opens the seven-sealed scroll. No one knows the day and hour when God's plans and purposes will start to be executed, as the Lamb breaks the first seal. But in his vision of the future, John witnessed the opening moments of the coming Day of the Lord, which will start with 7 terrible years of tribulation and will conclude with 1000 years of peace and prosperity, when the earth will be filled with the glory of God and Christ Jesus will rule as King of kings and Lord of lords. "He went and took the book from the right hand of him who sat on the throne" Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, what a great and mighty God You are, and what magnificent plans You have purposed to bring all things to completion. Help us to develop an attitude of gratitude for all that You have purposed for us and for all who love You. You are a good and loving Father Who never changes, and whose promises stand fast forever and ever. May we never forget all the things You have done, the things You are doing, and the things that have been purposed in the days ahead. Use us in the closing days of this world we live in today for Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus’ name, AMEN. Knowing that our salvation is secure in His worthy hands, every facet that touches our lives is equally under the protection of His mighty power, for He has become the foundational bedrock upon which our confidence rests and He is the ever-flowing fountain of living strength that fills our hearts and overspills into songs of worship and shouts of praise to His wonderful name. "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation” Our United Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for our wonderful salvation. Praise the Lord O our souls, for You are a great and mighty God. As we go into the world today as Your representative, give us increased boldness to speak the name of Jesus. May our lives reflect Your grace and goodness, to Your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN. Although our sins were forgiven forever at the cross of Christ, fellowship with the Father is broken when we allow the old sin nature to direct our lives, which means that the communion we once enjoyed with Him, is broken. But if we take every thought captive to Christ, walk in the light as He is in the light and if we confess any sinful acts and attitudes (whether they be wrong things that we have done or godly things that we have not done) God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and to remember our sins no more. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ died to pay the price for our sins and broke the power of sin in our lives... and thank You that in Him we have fellowship with You and free access to the throne of grace. We confess that we have not walked in spirit and truth but have been tempted to follow the desires and cravings of our own hearts. We confess doing things that were displeasing to You and omitting to do those things that we ought to have done - but thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive all our sins and to keep on cleansing us we pray, from unrighteousness - thank You Father, in Jesus name, AMEN. The love that God has for the world and the love that Christ has for the World, was written in blood... on a wooden Cross... 2000 years ago, and the future day of judgement should not hold any fear for those who have been saved by the blood of the Lamb, "for there is no fear in love because perfect love casts out fear." Let us all reflect together our deepest gratitude, our love for the Lord, Who willingly sacrificed His life to save us all, but let us also contemplate in reverent awe and hushed wonder, His amazing grace, His eternal perfection, His gracious character, and the immeasurable features of the God whose nature is pure Love. Indeed, "We love Him because He first LOVED us." Our United Prayer:
Father, when we think of the depth of Your love for us, we are overwhelmed. We cannot love as You love, unless You pour Your supernatural love through us, so that it may flow through us and out to others. Thank You that we are being conformed into the likeness of Christ. May the seed of love that You have planted within our hearts, blossoms into a godly love. Take our lives as vessels through whom Your love is shed abroad into a world where real love has been corrupted. We love You, Jesus, and we pray in Your precious name, AMEN. What a privilege it is to be a member of Christ's Body that we all eat of the same Bread of Life, we all drink from the same Living Water, and we all partake of the same Spirit of God. We all partake of the same spiritual benefits. We all have the same heavenly inheritance and we are all equally loved by the same Lord Jesus Christ. "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that we are full and equal members of the Church and that by Your grace we were baptized into the Body of Christ at our salvation. Thank You that we can partake of the same spiritual benefits that have been promised to all Your children. Thank You for the gifts, graces, benefits, and ministry You have seen fit to give to us, by Your grace. we pray that we may be willing and obedient members of Christ's Body and fulfil all the work You have prepared for us to do - to Your praise and glory. This we ask in Jesus' name and for His eternal glory, AMEN. |
