Day 12 Of 12 Children's Prayer Series Teaching Our Children The Ultimate LOVE God is the ultimate provider of LOVE, A wonderful love; a perfect love; a unique love; a divine love, a love that bewilders our provided understanding, and a love that is the eternal inheritance of all that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. But this is what we are, we are all God's children, and this is what we remain, and no one can ever pluck us out of this secure love of the God, for we are accepted by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Beloved Son of His love. We are all God’s children and that is what we are, sinners, saved by the grace of God, through faith in His Son, and that grace proceeds from the Father-heart of a wonderful, perfect, unique, divine love.  Our Prayer:
Loving Father we praise Your name for Your great love towards our children and all those that trust in the name of Jesus. Thank You for loving us and all our children enough to save us and thank You that in Christ, we are all called Your children, guide us all in teaching our children the ultimate of LOVE thru you, in Jesus name We pray, AMEN. Day 11 Of 2 Children's Prayer Series All God's promises, whether past, present, or future are secured in His unchanging character and unchangeable Word, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Not only do we have an assurance of the eternal, heavenly glory that is to come – but His promises include this present age, which means that our entire life is secure in His keeping. Our children need to understand what a glorious privilege it is to have their hope in God. May they be motivated to enlarge their perspective of their glorious God of Hope and fix their hope on Hi,.. Who has already blessed them with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus our Lord. May they continue to trust in His unbreakable Word and live their lives in a manner that honors His holy name.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our hearts rejoice as we realize the depth of love You have for our children. You truly are their glorious God of Hope and we thank You that this is not the chance “hope” of the world but a hope that is securely founded on Your unchangeable Word. Enable them to share this truth to those with whom they come in contact today, to Your praise and glory, in Christ’s name we Pray, AMEN. Day 10 of 12 Children's Prayer Series Our children's lives will be full of pitfalls and snares, and they often make wrong choices, but it is comforting to know that no matter what trials they may be called upon to face, or what foolish choices they may have made in the past, teach them to go to the Lord and ask Him for godly insight and spiritual understanding. He has promised to give them all that is needed for the task. God knows that we are all weak and frail and He knows that the testing our faith can cause us to complain or murmur or to become unsteady in our walk.. but God provides all the wisdom they need to maintain a steady heart, patient endurance, and an unwavering, uncompromised faith in Him. God delights to give generously to all who ask – but our children must be prepared to ask Him, to listen to His voice, and to obey His Word.  Our Prayer:
Loving Father, as the pressures of life are pressing down hard on our children, we want them to hold fast to the faith and patiently endure. Give them we pray, the wisdom they need to face the future with all joy, knowing their lives are hid with Christ in God. Help them to grow in grace and in wisdom as they rest in Your love and trust in Your Word. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. As children of God, our whole life and attitude should be to live our life for Christ, every moment of the day – to present our lives as a living sacrifice to Him.. to trust His word and walk in utter dependence on Him, moment by moment, and for His greater glory. We should be teaching children that living the Christian life as God intended and instructed, should be the their main aim, and failure to do so is identified as a sin –which should be confessed to the Lord and addressed in their lives – if they are to remain in holy fellowship with the Father, and grow in grace, to His honor and glory.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for this truth in the book of James, that when our children know what is righteous.. and yet do not do it, they are committing a sin in Your eyes. Forgive us and them for the times when we have done things that are wrong and avoided doing what is right, or turned a blind eye to some need or necessity. Thank You that in Christ we have all that we need to live righteously, in this troubled world, and from this day forward we pray that we would not only know what is right, but be ready and willing to carry it out, through Your sufficient strength, and for Your greater glory, this we ask in Jesus name AMEN. Day 8 Of 12 Children's Series Today, we live in a society where some want to teach our children divide not compassion and Love for one another, we are one nation under God all created equally. Compassion and forgiveness should be subjects to which we should be led to teach our children, for forgiveness is one of the godly garments with which we have been covered and clothed - and our call to kindness, compassion and forgiveness rests on the immeasurable forgiveness and mercy that each of us have received in Christ Jesus.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, Your love and Your immeasurable forgiveness towards us. May we teach our children to reflect You in their thoughts, words and deeds and we pray that they will be kind, compassionate and forgiving towards others just as You forgave us, in Christ, in Whose name we pray, AMEN Day 7 Of 12 Children's Prayer Series Christ's fullness of joy is not simply contained in a future hope, but is firmly established in this present time. The fullness of God is a truth that is embedded in so many of our Father's precious promises. Teaching children that sorrow may well take place in this life, for we have been told that in this world we will suffer trials and difficulties, but they must be of good cheer, for they have His indwelling Holy Spirit... and as they focus their hearts and minds on the risen Savior, they receive His fullness of joy, love, and His peace - not only in the world to come, but every day of their earthly lives.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, We praise and thank You for Your great goodness towards our children, and the many blessings that You shower on each one of them day by day. Be with them each step of the way, and help them to keep their eyes trained on the Lord Jesus. We thank You that we have been given everything we need for life and godliness, and pray that they may experience the fullness of joy we have all received in Christ, not only in the world to come, but as a daily experience in this present world. Thank You, Father, that You have made known to us the path of life in Christ Jesus our Savior, in Whose name we pray, and thank You that in Your presence is the fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore, AMEN. Day 6 Of 12 Children Series We are to teach our children that they serve a good and faithful God, Who has promised to work His good work in the lives of all His children and establish each one in every good works and words. But they must be aware that we have a powerful enemy, who desires their downfall and seeks to shipwreck their faith. God is faithful to guard them against the evil one... that old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan. The Lord pledged to strengthen and establish His children in the truth of His Word - for all children are HIS. In His grace, HE works in them and through them, for His good purpose. God knew them before the foundation of the world. He knows the number of hairs on their head and keeps their tears in His bottle.  Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful promises.. to strengthen, establish, and protection of our children, even when their faith falters and they prove faithless and false to You. Keep them ever mindful of this truth and guide them in the choices they must make today. Use them as an instrument of Your grace and keep them from all evil, so that they may grow in grace and in a knowledge of You, and in their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
Day 5 Of 12 Children Series To give direction to children, that trusting the Lord with all of their heart is not only a positive and beneficial duty, but it negates the elements of fear and doubt, it holds them firm in life’s storms and stresses, and it replaces self-confidence with a trusting 'God-confidence.' Trusting the Lord with all their heart is to set aside one's own desires and imaginings to do His will. It is to die to all that is of self - self-image, self-reliance, self-importance, self-centeredness. Teaching children that trusting the Lord is to believe His Word and to live by the knowledge that His Word is true and altogether perfect.  Our Prayer:
Thank You Father that You know all things and that we can trust our children, ourselves, our families, our friends, our work, our homes, our finances, our relationships, our needs and necessities into Your hands. We trust You Father to help us teach the direction of our children in your way, Keep us trusting. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN So many of the things that we need are the imminent necessities of life, which are confined to this transient world and the fleeting life-span of time and space, which flows from birth to death. We must teach children that God knows their daily needs before they even ask, but too often this verse is interpreted as a free-for -all to squander money and other God-given resources on selfish desires, instead of being wise stewards. Teaching children that God’s perspective of their needs has eternity in view, and not only embraces the daily bread they require today, but the eternal blessings that are theirs in Him.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, We stand amazed at Your gracious bounty, knowing that You care about both the little things that our children need today, as well as the eternal blessings that are being laid up for them in heaven, for which we praise Your holy name, in Christ Jesus we pray, AMEN. We are to teach children not to be anxious about anything, but they are to bring everything in life to the Lord in prayer. Teaching them to keep their hearts free from fretting and worry and this can only be achieved as they cast all their cares and concerns on the Lord Jesus - for He cares for them and gives them Peace. Being anxious for nothing is not a suggestion... it is a command and a responsibility for all who are born from above. Anxiety not only demonstrates a lack of confidence in God and a lack of faith in His Word, it is deliberate disobedience to His clear directive. The more they recognize God's sovereign hand in their daily problems and life's uncertainties, the more their anxious thoughts will melt away and they will find Peace.  Our Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You that You know all things and that You know everything about our children and us. Thank You that You hold today them in Your hand and their future is secure in You. Thank You that they can cast all their cares upon You - for You care for them. Keep them from anxious thoughts and help them to train their minds on Jesus for they want to depend on You in all things, not only today but in the days that lie ahead. This we pray in Jesus' name, AMEN. As our children continue on their journey through life they will be required to face even greater challenges and more rigorous difficulties. But we are to teach them to be strong and courageous in the Lord and in His mighty power, by putting on Christ and standing firm by abiding in Him, knowing that His grace is sufficient for the greatest challenges they may meet and being fully assured God is the one Who is going with them, for He has promised, He will never leave them nor forsake them..  Our Prayer:
Thank You loving Father that You never change. Help us to teach children how to abide in Christ knowing that His grace is sufficient for every challenge in their lives, and may they learn the lessons you desire to teach them, so that they may mature in faith and courage, by trusting Your word and obeying Your commands. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN. |
