PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY
Only as we look away from ourselves, our problems and our own limited perspectives.. and call to mind the greater reality of His loving-mercies, deep-compassion and long-suffering, do we recognize the steadfast love of the Lord which never ceases. Only as we turn our eyes away from our own disappointments and look to His wider purpose and plan, do we discover that His mercies never come to an end, for they are new every morning - great is His faithfulness. Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, how we praise and thank You that you are a gracious, loving and long-suffering God. Help us not to be influenced by the circumstances of our lives but rather help us to keep the eyes of our hearts on You, knowing that Your plans and purposes are perfect. Thank You Father for Your steadfast love towards all Your children - which is new every morning. All glory to Your holy name, AMEN. He knows each of us by name and cares enough to take the difficulties of life to cause us to turn our focus on Christ and not on ourselves - for when we rest in the promises of God - fear is replaced by Faith. Our Prayer:
Loving Father, what a wonderful God You are for You alone have the power to save and the ability to take every problem of life and use it as a blessing to draw us closer into Your loving arms, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN. We are to live in communion with the Lord Jesus and only do those things that we hear from Him. Let us always remember that in Christ we are not the old model, repaired or mended. It is not the old life that God reconditions or restores. We are not simply set-right, but made an entirely new person; we are born into a new creation; we are identified with Christ. Let us accept this truth in righteousness and true holiness by faith, and in everything we do, let us do ALL, to His praise and glory, from this day forward. Our Prayer:
Thank You, Father, that in Christ all things are made new. Thank You that in Christ, old things have passed away, and we have been made a new creation, in HIM. Help us to truly understand that this amazing truth is not only something for the future but something that took place the moment we believed in Christ as Savior. We pray that we may come to a deeper understanding of what it is to be a part of a new, and heavenly creation in Christ, in His name we pray, AMEN. The Lord desires the best for His children even though we may stray from Him. His plan for His children is to give us a future and a hope. He knows that only as we sever our reliance on the world's destructive securities and rest our trust entirely on Christ Jesus our Lord, will we break free from the yoke of this world today. I Have Plans For You "'for I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD. 'They are plans for peace and not disaster - plans to give you a future filled with hope.'" Our Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for the good plans You have purposed for us. Enlarge our vision of You and enable us to trust Your Word of truth through all the circumstances of our lives, knowing that Your thoughts towards us are only good continually. Thank You, Father, that all things work together for good, for those that love You and are fitting into Your plans and purposes. Continue to keep and protect Your people, and we pray that many would come to trust in Jesus. This we ask in Jesus' precious name and for his greater glory and joy, AMEN. He is the immutable God Who is eternally unchanging, never altering in His character, never failing in His promises, and never ceasing in His goodness and love towards us - for every good gift and every perfect gift comes to us from our heavenly Father of lights, in Whom there is no variation, no inconsistency, and no shifting shadows, for as He proclaimed of old, "I AM the Lord and I change not." Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, in a world where all around us is change and decay, uncertainty and difficulties, how we thank and praise You that Your goodness and grace are never-changing and that You are our ever-present help in our troubled times. Even when our faith wears thin and our love grows cold, we thank You, dear Lord, that You are our unchanging God, our unchangeable Provider, and the Lover of our souls. Praise Your holy name, in Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. Let us give thanks to the LORD, in remembrance of his holiness. Let us give thanks for the LORD as we commemorate the glory in the Holy One. Let us give praise to His name together, for sending Jesus to be our kinsman-Redeemer and to die on the Cross for our sake, and may we never cease to give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for all Your loving-kindness towards us and we join with the Psalmist in giving grateful thanks to You, for You are good and tender, gentle and faithful, upright and true. We thank You for Your daily mercies and rejoice for all the kindness You show towards us. We too give thanks with our whole hearts and proclaim with our mouths, 'the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever'. Thank You, Heavenly Father, and in Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. While-ever there is life the unspeakably precious gift from God is still available to whosever will accept God’s indescribable gift – His only begotten Son. Thanks be to God for His indescribable and unspeakably precious gift! If you have not yet accepted him into your life, we will pray for you and with you, How Amazing is the Power of Prayer! Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father – thank You for the unspeakably precious gift of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ – Who has been freely given to us and to all who will simply believe on His name. Father the gift of Your only begotten Son is beyond all expression, beyond all measure and beyond all bounds. We worship You for Your unspeakably precious gift to us and we pray for those who seek you - in JESUS name we pray, AMEN. The ubiquitous Christmas candy cane is a symbol of the simple roots of Christianity, one so old that we have all but forgotten its origin. The candy takes the shape of a shepherd's crook, representing the humble shepherds who were first to worship the newborn Christ. Our Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for sending Jesus to us and to die for our sins. Thank You that His blood has paid the full penalty for our sins and that the power of sin in our lives has been broken through Him. Thank You that Christ's sacrifice reveals Your immense love for mankind - and for us. We just want to give You thanks and praise for this free gift of salvation that is open to whosoever will come. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. Wreaths have been used as a decorative sign of Christmas for hundreds and hundreds of years. . The wreath has significant meaning for the season. It's circular shape represents eternity, for it has no beginning and no end. It represents an unending circle of life. A candle on the wreath symbolizes the light that Jesus brought into the world. So that whoever believes will in him have Eternal life. Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness - even so the Lord Jesus came to the earth for us. We pray that many today would come to know Jesus and have faith lead them to eternal life, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN. The rejoicing of our soul, is that part of us that contains our individuality. It is the seat of our very being that touches the material elements of our humanity, while the joyful praise in our spirit is that deepest element within our being that touches God, as we walk in spirit and truth - and reaches out from Him to others, as we witness of the wonderful truth of the gospel of Christ, as our hearts also exalt in, "God OUR Savior." Our Prayer:
Loving Father, We stand in awe of Your amazing grace and wonderful goodness. And the more we come to understand Your indescribable love towards us, the more our souls and spirits unite in glorifying Your holy name and worshipping You, our Savior and Lord. Thank You that you gave Your eternal Son to be born as Jesus, and Savior of the world. We pray, in Jesus' name, that we may be used to share the wonders of Your saving grace to others, AMEN. |
