7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Heavenly Father, thank You for this principle of sowing and reaping and we pray that we may develop a giving heart and a generous spirit so that all we say, brings honor to Your name, and all we do is done for the glory of God and for the good of others This I ask in Jesus' name, AMEN. As the Lord himself says, "Fear not, for I am with you." Faith in God as Lord of all gives us confidence that he will do exactly as he says, if we only believe in him as he asks. He will strengthen us and he will help us through all situations in life. Praying for those effected by Hurricane IDA and all the First Responders.  PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we know that there are many times that fear has replaced faith in our hearts, yet why should we fear when You have told us so many times to fear not? Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  PRAYER: Thank You Father for Your gift of salvation by grace alone – simply because we believe in Your Son. Thank You for the hope that is set before us and thank You for the love of the Lord Jesus, which was demonstrated to us on a wooden cross. Our thoughts, feelings, actions, and inactions should be done with Godly love towards God and towards others. ... But more importantly, without love, our actions would fall short of the Lord's command for us  ‘Show love in everything we do.’
Love should be the guiding force in our daily lives. God is love and when we show love, we reflect His character. In a world that is harsh and unforgiving, we should shine His love around us. In everything we do today and in the future, remember to do it all in love. PRAYER: Lord, may my life reflect Your great love to those around me. Let me not act out of character with the love I have received. Instead let me be a dispenser of Your love to those I come in contact with. In Jesus’ Name we Pray.... Amen. Your Word says “declare a thing and it shall be established.”, or believe in order to do something like this (or move a mountain or a tree into the sea). ... This should be taken to mean that when it is God's will to see something done, he will give us the faith that we need to ask effectively.  Prayer: Lord, we ask for greater faith to believe You and Your promises. Please give us courage to be like Peter and step out of the boat onto the water. There is absolutely nothing that God is unable to do, barring those things which are contrary to his nature, for he is perfect. It would have seemed that to pardon sinful man would be the one thing that was impossible, for he will not defy his own justice and holiness.  Prayer Loving Father, thank You for Your Word and the many promises that fill its pages. Thank You that nothing is impossible with respect to any of Your precious promises not only to me individually but to all people. Forgive me for the times I have doubted Your Word and help me to stand firm in all that You have promised, in Jesus name we pray.... Amen 🙏
This proverb is like a modern English expression. Attributed to Mark Twain, it says, "if you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything." An honest, sincere life doesn't run the risk of being caught in lies or deceit. The honest person, therefore, has a more "secure" life.  Please forgive us, dear God, for those times that we have been secretive or dishonest. Purify us of any deceit. Help us speak only what is true and appropriate. Transform us through your holy grace, into a holy character that is the same both in public and private. In Jesus' name we pray... Amen.
The promise of Romans 8:28 that God works for our good “in all things” is reassuring. It means that no matter the circumstance, there are only two qualifiers for God to be working all things together for our good. ... Those who love God are called according to His purpose  Father God, we know that all things work together for good for your believers. When we look around we see pain, panic, and corruption, but let us not be focused on them. Let us focus on the good, and give us courage to act according to your purpose. Amen.
If we regard iniquity (immoral or grossly unfair behavior) in our hearts. If, having seen it to be there, I continue to gaze upon it without aversion (strong feelings of dislike); if I cherish it, have a side glance of love toward it, excuse it, and palliate (unpleasant without removing the cause) it; The Lord will not hear us. How can he? Can we desire him to connive at our sin, and accept us while we willfully cling to any evil way? Nothing hinders prayer like iniquity harbored (a thought or feeling, typically a negative one) in one's mind, especially secretly)  Lord, we pray that all of our prayers are answered thru our faith and trust in your word. Lead us away from any iniquities in our hearts by living by your word so that our prayers will be answered in your way and time. We ask this in Jesus name...Amen
O Lord, Mighty in Power, You say that we should have faith in You so that we will be upheld. we do, Mighty Lord. ... we pray that we continue to put our Faith and Trust in You because You know all things. You know what the hearts of Your people are and our needs, and we know You will help us through whatever this life brings. we know that our Trust and Faith in You will keep us from any harm from others, that Trust and Faith always gives us comfort in our every day lives...We ask this in Your Name...Amen  Peter has called on Christians both to live in harmony together and to refuse to seek revenge.
