In order for believers to be united together in love and joy, peace and harmony, we are to let the mind of Christ dwell in us richly and to display the same beautiful disposition that Jesus displayed in His earthly life. One of Satan's favorite ploys is to cause division and divisiveness between friends, family, workmates, and especially in the Body of Christ. Let us recognize the importance of living in unity with those in our lives, but especially with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore, as the Body of Christ, let us be of one mind, one spirit, and one heart. Let us be transformed into the likeness of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, which will enable us to discern what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God and to display it in our lives. then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, help us be united together to our brothers and sisters in Christ in love. Give us humility of heart, and transform our minds into the mind of Christ so that we may think the thoughts that You would have us think so that we may be a channel of Your love to others. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. The pursuit of righteousness is characterized by the integrity, honesty, justice, and grace we extend to others , both to the saved and the unsaved. Faithfulness towards our Father and fidelity towards others, is reflected in a sincere and energetic confidence in the Lord and an unswerving trust in His Word , while the divine love of Christ is manifested through the words we speak and the actions we carry out. A deep love for God and consideration for the needs of others before ourselves, is the criteria that marks a person who is a man or woman after God's own heart. Let us all live as God intended all His children to live when He created us in His own image. Let us all earnestly pursue righteousness, faith, and love, and live in peace with those that call on the Lord with a pure heart , for the honor of His holy name, and for our own eternal benefit. Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to carry out Your plans and purposes in our lives, and live our lives as You intended, in fellowship with You and for Your greater honor and glory. Help us flee from all youthful lusts and pursue the spiritual fruit of righteousness, faith, and love. We pray that our lives may manifest Your perfect peace that passes understanding, so that by Your grace we may live in calm souls with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN. The exquisite description of the development of a tiny human form from conception to birth, is a message that speaks of the complete knowledge and the presence everywhere of the Lord, during the development of every child in the womb of their mother. The growth of the unborn baby, is one beautiful example of the manifestation of the Lord's magnificent wisdom in His unfolding plan of redemption. Indeed, the language and content of this special song of praise, dictates that every unborn child should be treated with great respect - and that God should be glorified in the formation of each little embryo, and every unborn baby. This beautifully explains that the Lord is the Originator and Owner of the little life within the womb. God's supreme sovereignty over every newly formed life, is the meaning behind this verse: For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for this beautiful Psalm on the sanctity of human life and thank you for all the Mothers, both past and present. Thank You that You gave us life, formed our inward parts, and have scheduled every day of our lives. How we praise and thank You that we have been born-again into Your family, and have received new lives in Christ. Bless and protect those that are pregnant and bless all mothers on this day and every day as they raise their children in a society that is very challenging in today's world. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN. How we rejoice to know that where two or three are gathered together in the name of the Lord Jesus, He has promised to be there among us. As believers, we are the corporate Body of Christ, and when two or more members of Christ's Body are united by prayer or praise, thanksgiving or worship, we are in a small way fulfilling Christ's high priestly prayer: That we may be one, even as He is one with the Father. Christ is the Head of the Body and when as few as two or three members are united together in Him, they are one with Christ Who is the Head of His growing Body. With this in mind: "Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching." Because when even two or three faithfully assemble together, we are assured that He is in our midst. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Our United Prayer:
Loving Father, how glorious to know that the Lord Jesus is our living Head. May He lead and guide all our intercessions and prayers, our conversations, and communion with others, both individually or corporately. As we gather together with other brothers and sisters to pray, and praise, and worship You, we thank You that Christ is the Head in our midst. May all we say and do be honoring to You. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. Fellowship in the life of a believer should be both vertical and horizontal. The importance of taking time to commune in private with our Heavenly Father cannot be sufficiently emphasized, but also our horizontal fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ is also of vital importance, and should not be ignored or dismissed. Sadly, this verse is often used in some unscrupulous denominations and Christian communities to insist that church attendance is legally binding on their members, which places their whole congregation in bondage to man-made legalism. But Christ Himself promised that when two or three were gathered together in His name, He would be there in their midst. Let us do all we can to ensure that we do not forsake our assembling together as the Body of Christ, as is the habit of some believers, but rather let us take every opportunity to meet together with like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ for mutual strength, support, edification, and encouragement so that we can give and receive spiritual nourishment and sound biblical teaching together with like-minded believers. not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that we are part of the Body of Christ. May we understand the importance of meeting regularly with our brothers and sisters in Christ, especially in these last days in which we live before Your return in the clouds at the glorious Rapture. We pray that we may actively seek out opportunities to meet together with others so that together we may give mutual encouragement and motivate one another toward godly love and good works. As the world becomes increasingly dark, we pray that none of us would fall into the trap of becoming isolated in our Christian walk, but we would grow in grace and wisdom and in a knowledge of You, enjoying godly fellowship and sound teaching. In Jesus' name we Pray, AMEN. |
