PRAYING TOGETHER AS A FAMILY
Tantalizing temptation invades our personal space in many ways. It is not simply the person we meet on the street or at a conference, but on the TV screen, the computer monitor, and in the dark recesses of our minds. How vital to cultivate a clean heart and let the mind of Christ dwell in us richly so that we are not enticed to drink water from another cistern. Forbidden water may taste sweet for a moment but leaves the bitterest aftertaste for the duration of one's entire life.
Knowing that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God dwells within, each one of us should be more than enough to cause us to flee from every temptation of sexual sin, and to shun sexual advances from the world outside... and outlaw any infiltration of idolatry from within.
Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many things we can learn from the amazing book of Proverbs. We realize the serious nature of sexual promiscuity and the consequences of indulging in this ungodly activity. Help us maintain inner purity of heart and live lives of godly virtue that flees from every fragment of sensual allurement. Thank You for our own close personal relationships in marriage and beyond, and may our delight be to draw fresh water from our own well and never seek satisfaction from broken cisterns and the brackish water they contain. Help us to live lives that honor Your holy name. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

We ask you to pray for this ministry, for its success in helping others in need of prayer.
2 Corinthians 2:17
"Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God."
