Faith Comes By Hearing

The good tidings of great joy that ignites faith in the man or woman who is dead in their sins and at enmity with their Creator, is peace with God and reconciliation with our Heavenly Father. Our reconciliation comes through the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses us from all sin, but faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the message of Christ, the Word of God.
This gospel is simply profound and profoundly simple: Christ died for us, He was buried, and He rose again to bring peace with God to a lost and dying world.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of hearing. Thank You for the people who told us about Jesus, for all who proclaimed the message of Christ in our hearing. Thank You for those that taught us that we are  sinners in need of salvation, which only comes through the sacrificial death of Christ on our behalf. May our feet always be headed with the beautiful message of peace with God,  through our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whose name we pray, AMEN.
