Faith-Virtue-Knowledge

Having been saved by grace through faith, it is only as we live by grace through faith and press on to the goal of our high calling in Christ.. with diligence, dedication and discipline.. (and as we pursue the goal of our calling) that we are empowered to grow in grace and in moral excellence. It is only as we appropriate what is ours in Christ and zealously apply it to our everyday lives.. that we grow in our knowledge of Christ, become self-controlled; patient; godly and gentle - good and kind.
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we are so blessed to be saved by grace through faith in Christ and we desire to live godly in Christ Jesus and to grow in grace and to produce spiritual fruit that is so honoring to You. Help us to be diligent and disciplined in our walk - not relying on our own abilities and excellence - but trusting in Your many precious promises, so that we may appropriate all that is ours in Christ. We pray that in His power we may become the person You desire us to be - this we ask in Jesus name, AMEN.
