Why is the act of forgiveness so difficult for some people? Why does it seem easier to let the root of bitterness grow in our hearts, rather than humbling ourselves, asking for forgiveness and forgiving another who has hurt or wronged us?
It seems to be the case that those who are not able to forgive have never come to an understanding how much they have been forgiven. The more understanding we have of the grace that we have received the deeper our gratitude and the greater our capacity to forgive other people becomes.
Let us be those who are quick to forgive, quick to ask for forgiveness, and in so doing glorify our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, mercy, love, and immeasurable forgiveness toward us. May we reflect You in our thoughts, words, and deeds. We pray that we will be kind, compassionate, and forgiving toward others, just as You forgave us. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN.
We are a growing group of people praying daily for and with others. We were led to start an online ministry to deliver what is needed more now than ever, a place where you can go to easily to submit a prayer request or requests involving others to pray for your needs. The Power of Prayer. Matthew 18:20- For where two or more come together in my name, there I am among them. You are never alone in prayer. The Power Of Numbers Praying.
We ask you to pray for this ministry, for its success in helping others in need of prayer.
2 Corinthians 2:17
"Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God."
