God Gives Us Power

We all need power in our lives, but true strength does not come from relying on our own capabilities but on Christ, Who has promised that His grace is sufficient for all the difficulties and dangers of life we may face. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, when we are weak in our own abilities then we become strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might.

Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Your indwelling Holy Spirit and thank You that our life is hid with Christ in God. Thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power and love, and of a sound mind. May we not fear rejection or ridicule in this increasingly hostile world - nor fear the likelihood of persecution, pain. and may we fan into flame our faith in Christ so that in HIM we may stand firm.  In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.
