God Hears Your Prayers

If we regard iniquity (immoral or grossly unfair behavior) in our hearts. If, having seen it to be there, I continue to gaze upon it without aversion (strong feelings of dislike); if I cherish it, have a side glance of love toward it, excuse it, and palliate (unpleasant without removing the cause) it;
The Lord will not hear us. How can he? Can we desire him to connive at our sin, and accept us while we willfully cling to any evil way? Nothing hinders prayer like iniquity harbored (a thought or feeling, typically a negative one) in one's mind, especially secretly)

Lord, we pray that all of our prayers are answered thru our faith and trust in your word. Lead us away from any iniquities in our hearts by living by your word so that our prayers will be answered in your way and time. We ask this in Jesus name...Amen
