God Is Light

The heavens declare the glory of God to humanity and the scriptures increasingly unveil His perfect character and holy attributes to all the children of men, as we see multiple examples of His loving-kindness, His long-suffering mercy and His gracious faithfulness to all generations.
Let us therefore walk in the light as He is in the light - and may the light of God in Christ shine in our hearts and show forth in our lives, so that others may see the light of Christ shining in our lives as we abide in Him and He in us.
"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your glorious message of Salvation and for unveiling Your perfect character and holy attributes through the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that we have been taken out of the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of Your dear Son. May the light of His life and love be seen in us and use us we pray to reflect the light of the glorious gospel of grace to a lost and darkened world, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN
