He Is The God Of All Comforts

 How often do we look at the difficulties in life and the people that threaten us with pain and problems, and start to sink into an abyss of fear, a seemingly bottomless pit of terror of the shocking things of which we know that fallen man is capable?
 Remember the Word of the Lord which endures forever. Remember He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and giver of all comforts. He has said: "Let not your heart be troubled," He Is The God Of All Comforts Who comforts us in ALL our affliction.
 Never forget that we have the Comforter living within our hearts and He is our ever-present help and comfort when all the difficulties and pressures of life try to swamp us. The wonderful result of this is that we in turn may be able to comfort others who are also in any kind of affliction, with the same wonderful comfort that we have received from our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, how we love You and bless Your wonderful name. Thank You that the Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comfort Who has promised to be with us always. Keep us, we pray, under Your wings of precious comfort so that we may be  comfort to others in their time of need, we know that those who would seek to harm us will fade as the grass of the field, but the Word of the Lord endures forever. Praise Your holy name! AMEN.
