Hear My Knock

His great love for all His children, the Lord continues to plead with every one of His born-again children, to yield to the call of his voice and live godly in Christ Jesus: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me."
One day all believers will be taken to be with the Lord Jesus, whether or not they submitted to the sanctifying work of the Spirit in their daily lives. Should we not harken to the call of our Lord Who died so that we might live in newness of life - submitted to His Spirit?

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we know that our hearts are not as fervently in love with you as they should be. Thank You for Your grace and long-suffering patience with us. We confess we have quenched the Spirit in our lives with our indifferent attitudes. We want to change and live in submission to You. We pray that we would open the door of our hearts to Jesus to come and fellowship with us, for in Him is fullness of joy. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
