Let Us Pray

Jesus Himself is currently seated on the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us. He, Himself is currently making intercessions for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. The Lord himself prays without ceasing. Should we not follow this example in our own lives?
Praise God that we can approach the throne on grace boldly, and give over to Him all of our anger, anguish, resentment, and malice, making the way clear for us to lift up holy hands and pour out our praises, petitions, and thankful worship to the Lord.
 "I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;"

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, search our hearts, that our being may be pleasing in your sight. As we pray and lift up holy hands to You, we pray that, more and more, we become the people You desire us to be. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
