When we discover ourselves to be surrounded by a whole host of menacing problems, let us not register unbelief in our hearts. Rather, let us trust in the faithful Word of God, for the Lord will fight for us, while we need to rest in His love and trust His Word, for He Who had promised will do it, in His way and to His glory. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.  Our United Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your many precious promises. Forgive us for the times when we take our eyes off You and slip into unbelief. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ and the truth of Your Word. Help us to rest in You and trust all the issues of our lives into Your hands, allowing You to work in Your way and to Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN. |
