There are two 'mindsets' or two 'world-views' in today's society and there are also two 'spirits' - the singular Spirit of Truth which is from God and the false spirit of error, lies, deception or deceit. Those who are grounded in the truth will have anchored their teaching on the whole counsel of God's Word and will be equipped to discern false teachings as they test the spirits to see if they are from the Lord.. and nobly study the Scriptures to show themselves approved unto God.  Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, We pray that we may take this warning seriously and test all the teachings and doctrines we come across.. against the plumb-line of Your Word of Truth. Give us discernment we pray and help us to focus our heart and mind on Christ and abide in Him.. so that we may not be swayed by lying spirits and false teachings.. but may finish the good work that You have started in us - to Your praise and glory.. this we ask in Jesus name, AMEN |
Prayer
