United Together In The Faith

 It only takes a single moment to be justified in the sight of God. It happens when we place our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ our Savior.
 The Lord has prepared a way for all his children to be United Together In The Faith, to grow in grace, and to attain to a full knowledge of Christ. Indeed, His desire is that we all attain spiritual maturity and come to a full measure of development in our Lord and Savior. He does this by furnishing each one of us with certain spiritual gifts. Some as apostles and some as prophets - through whom we have received the written Word of God. And some as evangelists and some as pastor-teachers whose role is to equip the saints in the service of our Father, in order that the Body of Christ may be nourished in the Word of God and built up spiritually.
 Today, we see through a glass darkly, there are many irritants and unholy differences within the Body of Christ which will never be fully harmonized until we are all finally perfected in Him - but He has given us His Word and furnished each one of His children with spiritual gifts, to equip the saints in their service to the Lord.
 Let us all use our spiritual gifts and graces to serve each other and to encourage one another. Let us strive to build each other up in our faith, with an ever-increasing knowledge of the Lord Jesus - until we all come to the unity of the faith and a knowledge of the Son of God.
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Our United Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect plan of redemption and for Jesus, our precious Saviors. Thank You for bringing us into Your heavenly family and making us a part of the Church of God. Help us to grow in our faith, in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ and in an ever-increasing knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, we long for that day when, together with all the saints of God, we shall be fully mature and reach a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
